Welcome to HIPNAUTIC WAVES, a beautifully renovated 3-bed, 2-bath END-UNIT condo perched on the 2ND ROW from the beach. Steps to the sand, with ocean views, sounds, and breeze that never get old. Settle into the large covered balcony or the airy interior and let the rhythmic sounds of the waves do the rest.

EXCLUSIVE& SERENE LOCATION
End-unit privacy is in a class of its own — windows on 3 of 4 sides and two sets of large sliding glass doors fill the space with natural light and views from every angle.
• Only condo building on OKI’s quieter west end: One of just 15 units in a boutique building, tucked away from the crowds. The kind of peaceful retreat larger complexes simply can’t offer.
• Spectacular sunsets & sunrises: Oak Island is a rare south-facing beach, meaning you get stunning skies over the water — morning and evening.

HIGH-END REMODEL & AMENITIES
• Kitchen: Stainless steel appliances, quartz countertops, and a large island perfect for prep and serving. Fully stocked with a drip/single-serve coffee maker, kettle, blender, electric griddle, and crock pot. The kitchen window looks out toward the Intracoastal Waterway, just a short walk away.
• Modern touches: Recessed lighting, remote-controlled ceiling fans, USB chargers in every bedroom and the living room, and vinyl plank flooring throughout.
• Entertainment: Spacious open living, dining & kitchen area with ample seating, a flat-screen Roku TV with extended cable & HBO, HDMI ports for your own streaming devices, plus puzzles and games for downtime.
• Convenience: Free on-site parking (3 spaces), outdoor shower, and a storage closet just outside the front door for beach gear.

• Beach access (~2 min. walk): Walking distance to two beach access points and a public fishing dock on 30th Pl W.
• Natural beauty (under 2 miles): The powder-soft sands of The Point — great for wildlife viewing and sunset photos.
• Local favorites (under 5 miles): Middleton Park, restaurants, bars, live music, shopping, two fishing piers, putt putt golf, splash pad, skate park, Farmer’s Market, and craft fairs.
• Nearest dining:
• Lonerider (1.4 mi) — Casual food and drinks, game nights, live music, and a great outdoor space.
• Island Way Restaurant (2.4 mi) — On the Ocean Crest Pier, with a solid wine list and ocean views.
• Day trips: Historic Southport is well worth a visit for charming dining and shopping — and don’t miss the ferry to Bald Head Island, accessible only by boat. No cars allowed, so golf carts and bikes rule the island.

WHAT’S INCLUDED
Linens included: queen bed sheets (3), bath towels (6), washcloths (6), hand towels (6), bath mats (2), and kitchen towels (2). Starter supplies also provided: toilet paper (2), dish pods (2), laundry pods (2), hand soap (2), dish soap (1), and kitchen trash bag (1).

CONDO RULES
Check-in: After 4pm | Checkout: 10am | Keyless entry

NO SMOKING: No smoking of any kind — including e-cigarettes and vaping — inside the unit or on the balcony(s). A $500 remediation fee applies.

PETS: Dog-friendly, limit of 2. A $200 pet fee is required prior to arrival. Dogs must be crated when left alone, up-to-date on shots, and on a flea & tick preventative. Undisclosed pets or flea/tick issues result in forfeiture of reservation or a $200 remediation fee, respectively.

NO PARTIES OR EVENTS.

AGE REQUIREMENT: Primary guest must be 25 or older, present at check-in, and on-site throughout the stay.

EXTENDED STAYS: Stays of 2+ weeks require a weekly housekeeping refresh at $80/visit. Guest starts laundry at least 1 hour before the cleaner arrives; the cleaner handles the rest — beds, kitchen, bathrooms, floors. About 1 hour per visit.

GRILL: Propane grill on the ground level by the picnic table. Bring your own propane canister and clean the grate before and after use.

GOLF CARTS & ELECTRICAL VEHICLES: Fuel-powered golf carts are welcome. No EV charging of any kind — no charging stations, extension cords, or outlet use for vehicles inside or outside the unit. Violations result in forfeiture of booking.

PARKING: 3 on-site parking passes included at no charge.

SECURITY: Ring doorbell camera at front entrance.

ELEVATOR: New as of October 2024. Door width ~36”.

ACCESSIBILITY: Front door ~29”, bedroom doors ~28”, bathroom door ~22”.

    This is our third visit to Oak Island. We love the area and the slow pace. This condo was a great location near The Point, very clean, nicely updated, kitchen had all the supplies, loved the balcony/tall chairs with a view, and an outdoor closet stocked with six beach chairs, an umbrella, and wagon. The beds were comfortable, too. We would have loved it more if there were televisions in the bedrooms for multi family use. We would have liked to have control of the thermostat. It was a digital Google type with remote access and I woke two nights to being overly hot to find the thermostat turned up. There are labels everywhere, some helpful, but many feeling like micro-managing. They have it posted asking it to stay set above 72 and that didn't fit with hot flashing, a four month old, and a daughter with migraines. Having to ask for approval for an additional fur baby, due to a sitter canceling last minute, our pet fee was doubled and we had already paid a damage fee into our bill in addition to pet fees. All total this was the most expensive rental we have had in 20 years of traveling.We left with no damage, all checklist items complete, and I swept multiple times through the week to lessen cleaning needs.

    Nice 3 bdrm 2 bath condo with enough room for 6 adults & 2 furbabies. Walk to beach is about 7 mins with a beach walk to help with beach buggies and other mobile items. This is on the quieter side of OKI with less traffic.

    Lovely condo. The labels on drawers and cabinets made it easier to locate needs. This unit even has light switches and door lock directions labeled which was very helpful! Loved the foldable cart (located in outside closet) to assist with getting items to the beach and for getting belongings to our vehicle to pack up for going home.
