Ocean View Villas E2 - The Sea Shed- Oceanview Condo

When I booked this unit, check out time was 11am. Somewhere that time changed to 10am without notification. Getting details of check in went thru lots of back-and-forth. I was told that I would get the info 45 minutes before check in! I ended up receiving instructions the day before. We get there they hand the keys over & all they say is “have fun”. We get to the property & realize we had no further details like what building our unit is in, towards the front or back, etc. After another call abt that & what the gate code was we finally settle in, but notice a few things. Hair on the floor in the bathroom. After pulling the chain for the overhead light in the master bedroom the chain breaks off. The table lamp in the living room-plugged in &w/ a lightbulb in didn’t work. 7 TV remotes & not 1 had batteries in it. Don’t get me started on the sliding door to the balcony. I work out, but I’m no body builder which you have to be,to be able to get that door open. Another call later, A lady came, brought us batteries for 1 remote, said yeah she knows about the balcony door & will get back abt it. 6days later I get a message someone is coming to “look at it” Needless to say, it was exhausting trying to open it all week &enjoy the viewWe finally just gave up. Oh did I mention there was construction going on all week. With no heads up, we run into the pest control people 1 day & said they had to come in &will lock the door behind them. I would continue but no more characters left.

This property has a great view of the ocean. Relaxing on the balcony & listening to the waves is awesome. Close access to the beach & area restaurants & activities is also a great plus!

Great beach vacation! Property was very bright and cheery, cute beach vibe! Clean, kitchen was well equipped with everything needed to make meals snd drinks! We will be back for sure!

The condo was perfect! Kitchen has everything needed. The decor was great! I loved everything about it!

Delightful first time staying in Cherry Grove area. Pleasantly surprised at quiet, nice well kept/clean complex. Great location at the north end of N Myrtle; quiet cul-de-sac type location but still conveniently located to grocery & all shopping and also entertainment as may be needed. Updated unit-well appointed kitchen & furnishings and seemed really clean. Able to make our own meals just fine as we wanted but also close to good restaurants; Calabash area is pretty close. Great view of the ocean from balcony with Adirondack style chairs where we enjoyed breakfast every morning. Close/easy access to the beach. Rental company and owners were responsive to our needs/questions. Enjoyed our stay; got to meet the owners who were nice and helpful. Some things we noted on a personal preference for us- the sliding glass door was hard to open, close and lock but once we were used to it that was no problem for us. The coffee pod machine was nice to have; we wished there was a larger drip coffee machine but the one available worked fine for the two of us. We would rent again.
