The property is supported by an astute staff keeping the pool area pleasant and maintained.Forty Niner Cafe provided decent coffee and breakfast options easily accessed in the lobby area.Elevators had a few delays but signage went out to alert residents and guests.Having the ability to shelter in place during the tsunami warning was a huge relief.WiFi access was strong and easy to navigate. The various instructions from the host and staff were clear and helpful especially when I extended my stay.Mahalo.

I've had the privilege of staying in luxury 5 star hotels and for whatever reason their beds always seem to make me itch, but not here. The room was very clean. The bed was quite comfortable. Although the bathroom's lack of spaciousness triggered my clostrophobia, the view from the patio made up for it. This room literally offers the best view in town. The Island Colony building as a whole is pretty outdated, but you'll spend most of your time outdoors anyway. It is central to almost everything. Overall, I surprisingly had a nice and peaceful stay.
