Ocean-View Gem w/ Lanai, Pool & New Furnishings - Walk to Swimming Beach

It is one of the best locations in west maui specially with family. We needed a kitchen due to out food preferences and we were able to enjoy every moment of our stay. We will go with this again if we visit.

The unit itself is beautiful, clean, and offers a wonderful view and location. We really enjoyed the beach chair amenities as well. The issues apply to sleeping - the bed and pillows are extremely uncomfortable and noisy - past reviews said there was a mattress topper, not the case anymore. Bed was very hard. Also the unit was warm without AC, and if there is not AC, there should be cotton sheets and light cotton blankets, not polyester linens or a heavy (pretty but not practical) polyester comforter. The bedroom also is next to the parking lot, and because the windows needed to be open for air, not only is the bedroom lit up at night from the outside lights (no curtains), but you wake up to anyone coming in the building at all hours of the night. While out of management's control, they were redoing the unit directly below us, so ALL day was sawing or hammering, and this noise was just as apparent at the pool area too - we had to physically leave the premises just to get some peace. Lastly, they give you a ridiculous 10 digit pin that you had to use every time you wanted to open the door to the unit - completely random numbers so if you left your phone inside you wouldn't be able to open the door. Pins should be 4-6 digits, tops.

Condo was lovely. It was in a great location.The only thing is it has no conditioning. For us it didn’t matter as it was November.

We loved the place, it was very clean and cozy, with an amazing view and sunsets.

This home is beautiful and has a great view! It was also very nice for the price point. HOWEVER… here are the drawbacks: 1. If you are a light sleeper, I do not recommend this place. Light from the hallway shines right into the bedroom and it is quite noisy. 2. There is no AC… I thought this wouldn’t be a problem but wow, it was so hot at night still and made it difficult to sleep. 3. I would not recommend this place for any more than 2 people even though listing says 4 occupants. 4. If you want a sandy beach, do not book! I knew it wouldn’t be sandy but wished we had booked somewhere on the beach. 5. Neither bed is comfortable to sleep on 6. They only provided 2 rolls of toilet paper for a 1 week stay. Pros: 1. Beautiful place with nice kitchen amenities 2. Close to Ka’anapali 3. Good sea turtle watching 4. Nice view I would not stay here again but I can certainly see this being a good place for those that aren’t light sleepers and can handle a little less comfort.

The condo was perfect for our week long stay with everything we needed to make some of our own meals in the kitchen. Some parking lot noise is heard if you go to bed early and keep the windows open due to no AC. There is a nice, big fan plus I had a noise machine and ear plugs packed so that helped me sleep. The pool was lovely and quiet, but I don't think it's heated as it was quite cold. We loved hanging out on the balcony and saw whales on several days of our stay!

The apartment a perfect size for 2 hopeless romantics! From the balcony, we could see the humpback whales breaching in the ocean. It was magical. The place was very clean and functional. Getting in and out was easy. We used the laundry room with no problem and both laundry and trash are just around the corner on the same floor.
