In March 2026 after bike week I spent 3 weeks in my condo. The place was very busy with Spring Break students and families. My wife and I had a wonderful time. No issues. We are located in Daytona Beach, 3 miles north of downtown Daytona. This condo is conveniently located near restaurants, a Publix supermarket, a shopping center and many little stores and shops. Dollar General and McDonald’s are 2 blocks away. The one room studio condo has a new A/C-heating unit, king bed, 41 inch smart TV, cable, full size refrigerator with a freezer, and a newly renovated kitchenette with a 2 burner stove and a separate countertop oven. There’s a separate bathroom with a tub and shower. Our building is located directly on the beach while our unit faces the city. Our unit DOES NOT overlook the ocean. There is free on premise parking. Please pay close attention to the parking rules. There is a parking pass attached to the inside of the entry door. Currently the DBR has one outdoor pool open and the indoor pool open plus 2 jacuzzis. There is also a fitness center with new equipment and a sauna. There is easy access to the beach. Check in is 4:00 pm and Check out is 12:00 noon. The single biggest reason we chose the Daytona Beach Resort is because it has 4 pools; 3 outdoor and one indoor pool. We enjoy the Bel Aire Plaza directly across the street. The Big Shark gift shop across the street is huge and have great prices on shirts. My wife and I are from Pennsylvania and have been owners since August 2009. My favorite place to eat is Charley Horse which is one half mile north of the DBR.

    Even though I was told that the pools were not operating, this property is in poor condition. There were only three elevators working out of seven. On check out day, another elevator went down. I also use a cane and there were only three luggage carts the whole time I was there. Also parking garage was closed due to hurricane damage. The additional parking was inconvenient to use as a handicapped person. The walk to the beach was difficult.

    The host was excellent..good communication..the amenitites weren't available while we were there due to weather issues (they are updating them and had signs posted that it should be completed by Q3 of 2026)but the condo was perfect for 2 of us. We went for Biketoberfest and the location was ideal! We would definitely stay again!

    The studio was as pictured. Enjoyed the area. Convenient to shoppingand restaurants. Only reason i gave it 4 stars is that the unit didn't have any wash cloths.
