Stayed Sep 28, 2023I really don't expect this to make the listing. This place was in a fantastic location & the check-in process was easy & straightforward. Everything we used worked, & we enjoyed waking up to the gorgeous view & hearing the waves crash on the beach. Those are the positives. However, we have stayed in MANY places all over the world, several less expensive than this place that were MUCH nicer. The property was very dated. The curtains & couches (not the same as in the picture) were stained & the entire place smelled of wet dog, which is interesting, given the no pets rule! (Not complaining, I do not think pets should be allowed!) The wallpaper was probably hung in the early 80's & is peeling back from the walls in both bathrooms. There was only a plastic waterproof matress pad in the closet. There were a grand total of 6 hangers in the closets. I only went into the 2nd bedroom to look for more hangers, so I cannot offer any opinion on that room. The place was fine, but not at all nice. I would not return or recommend it to others. I suggest the owners take a weeks' rental fee & splurge on some much needed updates. There are too many beautiful properties to rent out there.
