Oak Square 109 is a spacious condo with private balcony in downtown

Positive - This was a fantastic location! It was a quick walk to the main strip. The location had everything we needed for a quick trip. Negative - The pillows were rock hard and there was not enough hot water for even one person to take a shower.

I am 50+. Booked for my wife and myself to visit Great Smokey Mountain National Park for the first time. Could not have picked a better location. On the edge of Gatlinburg (park side). Gatlinburg traffic is HORRIBLE. Being on that side to access the park is a Major item. Also a 3 minute walk from the main drag. Location Location Location. Condo was extremely dated. Not a luxury stay at all. But if you are good with that then I would highly recommend.

Reviewer Comments: We've stayed at Oak Square before in a different unit so we knew we loved the location and that's the main reason we stay here (and the price). This unit was very spacious, which we appreciated, but the furniture is old and gross. We wouldn't even sit on the chairs or the middle cushion on the sofa without a blanket. It's VERY dated and while I believe it was clean honestly it was kind of hard to tell since things are so old. The tile in the bathroom was stained so again couldn't really tell how clean it was. Upside was the water pressure/temperature in the shower was great, which was appreciated after long days hiking (even though shower wasn't very nice). Pluses: Location, size, water pressure in shower, bathroom had plenty of space. Negatives: Gross furniture, everything old/dated and not sure how clean things were given how old it was. I would stay at Oak Square again but not this unit unless they make some upgrades. BTW, I am not from Seattle.

Walking distance from everything.Indoor pool was under construction, however not sure I would of used it. In the unit it took a few hours to get it heated. Heat maxed out at only 70. Floors were quite cold during the stay. Very limited on cookware and silverware. So if you planned on cooking, may want to bring extra.

Had a great time Oak Square was a great location. Cleanliness of the unit was ok. Furniture needs to be updated. Other than that great time!!

Couch bed is uncomfortable but I think they all are. Coffee pot is mismatched but works fine(12 cup). Sliding door is tight for small children but not for adults which was perfect for us. Nice size balcony at the back side of resort. Plenty of shelves in bathroom for storing clothes or other items. Outdoor pool was cold and dont get much sun so we used indoor mostly. It was super great. Warm and not smelly in there like most indoor pools. Plenty of space. Would definately reccommend and I was a little concerned after some reviews. Thanks Olde Gatlinburg!
