Nihi Kai #403: Newly Remodeled in 2023, Full AC, Steps to Beach!

Loved the AC, overlooked the ocean, steps away from the beach, beach supplies and had 4 balconies/lani’s. Nicely decorated!!

We really enjoyed how close it was to the beach and the view from the ocean. The kitchen had everything we needed and there was even snorkel equipment and beach chairs to use.

AC was great perk to use while sleeping. View of ocean was good. Short walk to beach. Kitchen is fully stocked. Lots of brach equipment ( boogie boards, chairs, masks) available. Wish there were more cleaning supplies available to keep the place sparkling during our stay. ( There are Clorox wipes, Purell and rubbing alcohol) New tile floors look nice.

Very well appointed, clean, comfortable, nice Hawaiian touches such as art, furniture.

The location was great. Extremely close to the beaches and the kitchen was well updated. However, given the money spent, we were really disappointed in the cleanliness, privacy, and comfort of the unit.The furniture, carpet, and bathrooms were very dirty with all fabric and carpet showing dirt and a peeling toilet seat, mold/mildew in grout around tubs and sinks, and missing baseboards in the bathroom. Only 1 washcloth, 1 bath towel, and 1 beach towel were provided per person which meant A LOT of laundry with a broken dryer door - very inconvenient! This was not a quiet unit with thin walls, neighbors on both sides and above as well as the pool directly out front and no curtains in the living area for privacy. Finally, the seating in the unit was very uncomfortable with benches for dining, and no chair backs on the patio furniture. The wicker chairs are also very uncomfortable. Disappointing when you are tired from swimming and hiking all day. Unit has potential, but failed to meet our expectations.

The location is unbeatable! We really enjoyed our stay! Some small issues, beds are uncomfortable, pillows need replacing and the doors are really thin-you hear everything from bathrooms and other bedroom. But overall 5 stars!

Very easy instructions to enter and the villa had everything we needed. Great ocean view too!

Septic smells from parking lot filled the condo. Had to keep sliding doors shut. Everyday. This was awful. The Air Conditioner did not keep the lower bedrooms cool. The screens on the sliding doors where off trackThe sliders had curtains that did not provide privacy and were dirty and torn. The location is excellent. We walked five minutes and we're on Poipu Beach.

Stephen is a gracious, well organized, responsive & helpful host. So, as one would expect, his place was perfect in every way.It's an ideal location, yards from the Ocean, a block from the beach, with a sunset view & adjacent to two nice tennis courts.The condo itself is as advertised. Newly remodeled, amazing & fully stocked kitchen. Ideal for cooking & entertaining.This 2 BR condo actually has 4 lanais, two upstairs & two downstairs, so if ya need a little a separation from whomever you are traveling with, you've got it.We only have one regret and that is that out a nearly 2 week trip, we didn't allocate more nights to staying at Stephen's condo. Now we know!

Excellent place, fully stocked, well thought out, washer and dryer a must while traveling with kids, cold A/C, loved the seperation of space with two stories, great view of the ocean, saw spouting whales, only steps away from the sea turtles, and we used the heated pool every day... Would definitely stay here again!

This was a very comfortable and lovely place to stay! The host was extremely responsive. The location is wonderful, and we walked to the beach and nearby restaurants. The three of us felt very comfortable in all the shared spaces and thoroughly enjoyed spending time together. We couldn't quite figure out the television, but that was okay. We used the pool as well, and the unit is so close to the pool, and the parking was extremely easy! We appreciated the beach towels and laundry as well. You will be so happy you stayed here!! .

Great stay. Superb location. Main floor recently renovated and very tasteful. Kitchen is big and well stocked. Good ocean views… just steps away from the water. Master bed was too soft for us. Ac worked fantastic

upstairs was nicely done. the location is the best part of this place! super close to the beaches and central for walking around.

Host was very accommodating and wonderful setting. Beautiful and relaxing.

Villa is very nice and well equipped. Beautiful views/sunsets! Only issues were the latch on the dryer was missing (had to tape it shut-tape was provided), bldg. was not marked with a number so that it was visible from the street (had trouble locating the bldg.). Host was great and very responsive. We would recommend this villa/host!!

We had an absolutely wonderful week! It was the perfect place for us to stay with our two 20-something year old sons. The condo was beautiful and fully stocked with everything that you will need for fun beach trips (two beaches within walking distance) and exploring the island. We were also impressed with the abundance of dishes, pots/pans, glassware and kitchen gadgets, coolers, beach chairs, beach towels, etc. that were available for our use. The condo manager, Stephen was extremely helpful and quick to respond to any of our questions/needs. We loved having our coffee and breakfast out on the back deck every morning, with the ocean, flora and fauna in the background. Our week in Kauai at this Nihi Kai condo was one of our favorite vacations yet! We look forward to returning some day!

One of the best rentals we’ve ever had! Cleanliness, well stocked, comfortable beds and area, walkability to beach, and modern conveniences were a plus. A/c worked great!

Stephen’s condo was wonderful! Great location and so well stocked! Communication was absolutely fabulous all the way through. He went out of his way to be accommodating and was incredibly responsive. The views from the upstairs balcony spectacular and trade winds blowing through

Loved the view from the balcony of the ocean. Great location, quiet, everything that was needed was in the condo. Kitchen stuff, beach stuff and comfortable beds. Good to have a washer and dryer. Enjoyed seeing turtles on the beach. Would definitely book this condo again.

Property super close to Brennecke's and Poipu beaches. Had everything we needed and was so relaxing. Would highly recommend.

Stayed for a week. Enjoyed every minute. Nice lay out, modern furnishings, ac, excellent kitchen, good BBQ area. Close to beach, easy parking.

The location of this rental was great. Walking distance to the beach and nice views of the ocean, with breathtaking sunsets. We weren't big fans of the bedroom/bathrooms being downstairs, lots of trips. The drapes in the bedrooms are thin leading to uncomfortable privacy and early mornings due to the room being lit up. When we checked in, it was not clear the key lock box was located under the railing, which is behind you when facing the door. We could not get the tv to work and had to improvise using our own means. We did enjoy our stay. The location is ideal if you want to see the ocean, sit on the beach and especially if you want to boogie-board. Great Waves!

It was a great stay. Love the layout and the ocean view and the short walk to the beach and medium walk to coffee. Also really appreciated the beach chairs and beach towels and coffee grinder. The development is a little older. While it has been remodeled there are still signs of it being an older property like the downstairs doors (bedrooms, closets, bath) and doors to balcony. Still it was decorated so pretty and plenty of space.

This condo had everything we needed for our stay in Poipu! It’s spacious with all the amenities you need including beach gear. The walk to Brennecke’s beach and Poipu beach was super quick and easy even with all our gear. Location is perfect. The host was super quick to respond to my questions and very accommodating. I would book again without reservation.
