Newly Renovated Partial Beach View 2 bed, 2 bath at Sanibel Moorings #1021

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have been coming to Sanibel Moorings for over 40 years. Attention to detail is slipping, i.e, using a large portion of the parking lot as permanent outdoor storage then bemoaning the scarcity of parking. Biggest problem is security, or total lack of it outside of office hours. If you have a problem with unruly tenants, call the Sanibel Police Dept is not much of a policy. Advertising video surveillance and then not being able to use it to identify the troublemakers indicates that there is no worthwhile video surveillance. Rules and regulations are strictly enforced to protect the property and minimize staff effort, not to make the guests' visits any easier or more enjoyable. No real complaints about the unit, although the furnishings were dated and appliances builder grade. We have previously stayed in several owner-occupied units in much better condition. Sanibel Moorings is still a nice place in a nice location, but not as nice as it once was.

The unit is gulf view and only a few steps from the beach, which we both truly appreciated. The unit has been updated and includes a modern kitchen with everything a gourmet chef would need. The staff is phenomenal. Any thing that you need, they are there within minutes. Due to my age, I have trouble working the TV/DVD. The staff is always so helpful without making me feel so inadequate in technology. As far as activities, we love visiting Ding Darling, the shell museum and of course eating out. It seems so unfair to mention a few restaurants because they all are great.However, do not miss the Lighthouse Cafe, Grandma Dots and Doc Fords.

This was exactly what I needed- the perfect getaway at a tropical paradise. I will be doing it again soon!!

Perfect place for a family to take in the sunsets, Sanibels Best Ice Cream and spend time walking on the beach making memories!

First time to the beach with our boys, ages 4 and 5. Perfect place to stay. Very short walk to beach or pool. Great beach. Easy drive to the restaurants.

This was our first visit to Sanibel and we were extremely happy with our choice to stay at Sanibel Moorings. The condo was just as pictured, decorated beautifully. The little extras like umbrellas & lounge chairs at the beach made our stay care free.
