Stayed Jul 19, 2021The location is just a 200-yd walk from the ski hill restaurants and shops. Slept 6 comfortably - Queen bunk beds!? No A/C had us concerned with temps in the 90’s, but it cooled off quickly in the evening with windows open and fans in all rooms (we left an extra one by mistake!) - and the pool and hot tubs were just a few steps down the hall (no noise though). Well stocked Kitchen and lots of towels -plus a bonus shower not expected! Washer and dryer came in handy. We took the chair lift/gon up to the top for a beverage before going down the Danny On trail- spectacular views and a great hike through the trees! The only drawback was the garage downstairs, which is impossibly tight for full-size trucks/SUVs, but we were fortunate that another spot was open so we could use it, thanks to the management!

Stayed Aug 30, 2020We had a great stay. My boyfriend had to work for the week while a friend and I explored GNP. In hindsight, we wish we had stayed closer to the park entrance since hiking trails are all 1h+ away from it, but this was a solid place with strong internet for my boyfriend’s many zoom calls and movie streaming. Some things to note: - the building is old. Our first night some kids were playing tag and the entire upper floor (kitchen and living) was vibrating, lights flickering. But the bedrooms were well insulated from the noise downstairs! -Laundry machine is older too- dont overfill! -Condo staff forgot to give us dishwasher detergent so we had to buy, but it turns out that should have been there for us upon arrival, so worth checking on this if it is missing -Not sure if it’s due to COVID, but the condo didnt have ANY spices or cooking oils etc like Our usual VRBO experiences. We had to buy everything including salt. Took it all with us since we assumed staff would throw away. -knives were pretty old and hard to use, could be replaced. That said there were lots of them and so many dishes- really handy for avoiding running the dishwasher daily! -beds were comfy -easy access to the small village, but keep in mind that it’s small- be sure to make reservations downtown Whitefish if you want to eat out. We loved the brewery and food at Bonsai -be careful of the cops setting speed traps down Big Mountain Road!! We saw several cars get pulled over during our time at the place where the limit drops to 35mph Overall a great spot to stay with friends or definitely would have been fun for a larger group! I loved that my boyfriend had a gorgeous Mountain View while he had to work as we explored the park.
