Newest Oceanfront Resort! Max Beach Resort 2Bd, 2Bth, Ocean and City North

Great - beach access, new property, indoor space was gorgeous, Friendly staff, great parking, good pool and hot tub. Could improve - not many kitchen gadgets to use for cooking. Have to wash own pool towels and reuse. That’s not practical, Some of our ceilings were unfinished cement - we weren’t sure if that was aesthetically on purpose or an unfinished ceiling

I thought I was renting a condo, but it is actually a hotel.Check-in person told me builder intended to sell as condos but decided to keep building.They market thru VRBO so it's a bit confusing. At check in we were given wristbands w/digital chips that act as a key & allows you to get in through beach gate, main building & unit. Told no housekeeping services, everything already in room. At check in, told no more than 6 people in the 2 bedroom unit at one time. I explained I had my kids & family (11 people total) coming for a day at the beach. I had to register each person & they had to check in upon arrival to get a wristband (with no digital access to anything). No one can be on the property without a wrist band. So a friend coming for an hour had to be checked in, IDed, & wristbanded. They enforce the number of people in the unit so that made it stressful for people coming & going, grabbing a bite to eat, etc. I've never been to a hotel where I felt so regimented. We talked to a few guests in the elevator and we all agreed there were a lot of rules.The unit decor is minimalist.No art, no pillows on the sofa/2 chairs in living room. No one liked sitting them because without pillows they were uncomfortable, even on balcony. It was supposed to be a full kitchen but there were no sharp knives. I told the front desk and the guy said he'd contact housekeeping. A guy showed up with one paring knife. Iffy neighborhood. All the employees were very nice.

The condo was very clean. There were 3 things that could be improved. 1) the master shower leaks. After every shower we had to put the bathmat in the dryer. It was sopping wet. 2)there is no shelf or cut out in the master shower to store soap, shampoo, etc. We had to have the bar of soap on the shower floor. 3) the condo unit AC was great everywhere but the master bedroom. It was so hot at night, even with the door open.

My wife, daughter and I stayed at Max Beach resort for a one week getaway. The property was fantastic in every aspect. Great service, wonderful views and clean! We would highly recommend Max Beach Resort!

Great location on the beach. Everything was New and clean and close to everything.

The condo, staff, and views were amazing. The amenities were great and access to the beach was within walking distance. Everything was perfect, convenient, and luxurious.

We enjoyed staying here, love the drop off for our bikes, service was always happy to help and the room with a view just beautiful. Thanks for a great experience.

Great location . Property was very spacious & beautifully decorated . Manager on site and all staff were extremely friendly and helpful . We will definitely return !
