Stayed Mar 15, 2025The property was beautiful and very clean. The kitchen was well stocked with silverware and appliances. And the bathrooms were fantastic. I love the fact that there was a working garage. There were a few minor issues. The overhead fan in one of the rooms did not work. Also, the beds were not very comfortable at all. The mattresses could used changing for sure. We did also find an extension cord oddly placed and mangled (but that seemed like maybe a previous resident had done that and tucked it under a table ). The staff at the center was so friendly and so helpful and so accommodating. We had to change our trip due to tournament schedule changes at Harrah’s Casino and they were amazing on the phone and on property. We had one little snafu with check in because of it being a Saturday and had to run over next door to the golf center for our packet but again they were wonderful!

Stayed Jan 17, 2025The condo was nice and clean. The unit was clean and well stocked. I did however have trouble with the primary mattress was too firm and springy. The tankless water heater was very loud, and I feared it may have bothered others below us.The views from the living are very nice and would have been beautiful if the weather had cooperated.

Stayed Sep 13, 2024This is a beautiful condo and a beautiful golf course neighborhood! The amenities are also very beautiful. The pictures are exactly what the condo looks like. We enjoyed our stay! Bryson city was our hang out mostly and there was live music somewhere in the city we were there. Great little getaway!

Stayed Aug 8, 2021The condo: the view was ok, lots of trees but nothing particularly notable about it. Some areas of the community had really nice golf course views. The deck was large and the furniture was comfortable. But It did not appear that the cleaning crew cleans the patio area…the glass table was quite dirty. Also there were lots of wasps, carpenter bees, etc. Many nests in the rafters and we saw them swarming into the deck boards right below the sliding door of the bedroom. The exterminator came while we were there but that didn’t clear them out. The condo itself was very nice with some high end upgrades. The kitchen had everything we needed, except maybe a crockpot. The towels and linens were a nice high quality. However, there was one HUGE letdown…the beds were terrible…SO uncomfortable and old (like rundown motel “old”). The box springs creaked and squeezed with any tiny movement. Every bed seemed to have this issue (we tried them all). For 4 nights, we had the worst sleep ever and woke up with back aches. This was so disappointing…A good night’s rest is such an important piece of enjoying a getaway. With new beds, this place would be great! Community: The country club was nice with some beautiful views. The pool area was nice and wasn’t busy. The hot tub jets were broken. The condo itself was almost at the very back of the community and the drive contains some very steep ups and downs (a bit like a roller coaster). The garage was a nice benefit. There were 20+ steps leading up to the condo from the from the garage. Something to consider for anyone who doesn’t do well with stairs or if you have a lot to unload from the car! Location/Area: Whittier is midway between Cherokee and Bryson City (about 20-25 min each way). But there was nothing notable in Whittier except the Post Office. No restaurants or anything else to do (except we did pick blueberries at a nearby house). The closest grocery store was about 20 mins away so we were glad we planned out our meals in advance. Also, during early August we found that many restaurants were closed on Monday and Tuesday and/or closed early on the days they were open.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969The condo was very nice. The view was awesome. After an afternoon rain, an almost perfect double rainbow appeared in the hills in front of the deck. Because of the elevation change of many of the holes, the golf course is the most fun course I've ever played. The only negative is the internet and cable tv (internet based) was very spotty. Don't go if you require reliable internet. Otherwise, it was outstanding!

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Condo didn’t get 5 stars for cleanliness as there was significant mold in extra bathroom shower. This condo is exactly as described and pictured and you felt like you were in a tree house. Pretty isolated and no services as far as restaurants or shopping near by if that is a must this isn’t the condo for you. Would not want to be there in cold weather as the step incline and winding roads to condo would be difficult to navigate.

Stayed Jul 2, 2019Great location, facility, owner and stay. Had the rating been getting there it would be 3, NO fault of owner. If you are a lifetime touring motorcyclist like me even mountain gravel does not bother me. The golf course access road where they installed 4 asphalt high speed bumps or (drainage ridges? I am an engineer and they make mo sense) on a 30% grade are dangerous. As the rear wheel hits the bump at any speed it loses traction dry or wet on a big bike. Less experienced riders are in big trouble. Signage by golf course is terrible, no indications of number of units. Once you find it, no problem. Parking is flat, garage great, great place. This top floor with vaulted deck is by far well worth the money. Thank you Ben!
