Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Pilot House 328 was perfect for the trip my daughter and I took over Spring Break. The size was perfect as it was just the 2 of us; location was great, and management was very quick to answer any questions we had. We had plenty of activities right outside in Baytowne Wharf; Jolee Island was a short walk and the tram allowed us to travel to additional locations without the need to drive, search and pay for parking. Overall, this was a great experience. All staff- whether it be within Pilot House; local cafés; those working the activities within the resort or the tram driver- we very pleasant and helpful. Definitely a place we will visit again!

The room was quite dark. Yes, there is a window but that window doesn’t let in a lot of light, and we had two lamps in the room but only one worked/Bulb was burnt out. Needs a bigger TV in the room so that the whole family can enjoy. Towels, maybe some beach towels? Or trade out regular towels after a couple days? We love the location, as we have stayed in the Square at other condos a few times. I just want to give you a bit of advice to make your customers stay a better one.

The beds were horrible. They were so uncomfortable and made loud noise when you move so you could not sleep. They need to be replaced. Also assumed there room did not have a chair to sit on. The room temp wouldn't stay comfy either. When we did get to talk to someone they said they would move us only to get another call saying that was going to happen. When I asked for a refund for the rest of our stay so we could try to get somewhere at least to get some sleep again I was told no. So now I get to go through more hassle to dispute this and at least get a partial credit. VERY DISAPPOINTED AND WILL DEFINITELY GET THIS INFO OUT EVERYWHERE I CAN!

Pilot House is just steps away from Baytown Wharf village, which includes lots of enjoyable restaurants and shops. Also appreciated the nice pool area.

Room on smaller side but we knew that going in. Tons of things to do in walking distance and great pool.

It's all the way at the end of the hallway on the main level of the Pilot House. Upon arrival, it appeared clean, but had a light bulb out. We were able to take one from the bathroom fixture to replace. It's very dark in the room as it's a lockoff and is technically only a bedroom and bathroom. I dropped my earring when taking it out and was horrified to look underneath the DVD player and the beds. It was very dirty and looked like they hadn't cleaned underneath in a long time. Overall, not a bad unit, but definitely not as great as some of the other units I've stayed in. It was nice to be in the village for Wine Festival 2021.

As listed, this is set up like a hotel room with two double beds, a nightstand and dresser. There is a small mini fridge, microwave, and toaster available. Beach chairs and umbrellas in the closet for use. Location is great - close to pool area and parking garage. Easy access to Baytowne Wharf. Shuttle access right out front door of Pilot House. Communication was excellent and we did book two events with their partner xplorie for deep sea fishing which was amazing, and a snorkel/dolphin cruise. Again it was enjoyable and both were great prices. Took away one star only because they came to repair an outlet, but power to it was never restored. We mad with work with others in the room though. Also the bed frame on the bed closest to window did not have the plastic covers, leaving a sharp edge exposed and easy to scrape your shin on. This happened to my spouse and it did require antibiotic treatment as he developed cellulitis where it broke the skin. All in all it is a great place if you aren't planning on spending much time in the room and just need a place to sleep after enjoying all the resort and Destin area have to offer.
