The apartment was spotless with a deck looking over the bay. Communication was good. There were no washcloths so we asked to get some. They never showed up. One of the blinds was broken in the main room. It aldo would be helpful to alert that there are many stairs to get there.

This is a great spot & nicely done. Just very thin walls, so can hear people staying above you whole conversations & they were not being overly loud.

Pros: Great location, basic kitchen (with an induction hot plate) that worked well for cooking our meals. the bed is comfortable and linens were good quality. Locally sourced coffee and cleaning/personal care items (I bought both to take home). Cons(or suggestions) There are 26 steps, with no railing, to reach the lower suite. Just be aware if you have any mobility issues. There was no towel rack in the bathroom (it looked like there had been one that broke off but just hadn't been replaced yet). Also be aware that the noise from the unit above will be disruptive. You can hear every footstep, muffled conversations and TV. We had hoped for a quiet time but found it disruptive, especially since they got up every morning to go fishing at 5 A.M. Overall, for the price, it is a nice space, but if I were to go back, I would reserve an upstairs suite (fewer stairs and less noise).

Beautiful space, comfy bed, lots of bird watching action outside. Bring slippers for the chilly floor.

Can cook some simple breakfast in the room (no vents though). Nice big of coffee provided. Bed is comfortable. Having a faulty toilet! We had to drive to elsewhere to use toilets. Very inconvenient! The family occupied the upper unit is very noisy, moving furniture around the midnights.

Small quaint clean space. Rental went seamlessly. Smelled a bit musty.

The loft was perfect! We had enough space to sleep well, rest and cook dinner. The kitchen was well equipped. The bathroom was clean and the water pressure was great! The location was also perfect for us! Short walking distance from two rock beaches and a trails to a lighthouse with a beautiful view! We were in Ucluelet for surfing and we were not disappointed! Two beautiful sand beaches accessible in cars with great waves! The small city is charming, you have everything you need in the « downtown » of the city. The loft is very close in car but doable with walking too if you are in good shape :) The loft was in a calm area. We really loved our stay! Would recommend a 100%!

The place was very cozy and clean. We loved how close it was to everything: we walked to the beaches and out to explore town every day. Communication with the host was easy and clear. Would definitely stay here again!

We loved our trip to Ucluelet! The cottage is exactly as was suggested in the ad. There is a calming view of the ocean inlet from the little red table and chairs in the front. The kitchen is stocked with all the appliances and cookware we needed. And of course... being able to have our dog was a real bonus. Highly recommended!

With the high cost of everything nowadays, this being no exception, it was everything we expected, all and all, very worth it.

Great location to do what we planned to do while in Ucluelet, and enjoyed the whole area. Connor was quick to respond to my questions and made the process easy.

Kingfisher is on a road lined up close to several other two-level tiny homes. We are two adults who stayed two weekend nights in August in the lower level. As a consequence, we heard our upstairs' neighbors. The space is one small rectangle, but the bed is comfortable, the WiFi good, and the outside location easily walkable to the Wild Pacific Trail. There is a French press, coffee grinder, kettle, toaster, microwave, small frig, hot plate, sink and basic dishes. There is a partial view of a small cove from the back patio. Ucluelet is expensive in the summer, so the lodging seemed expensive for the room. Otherwise a good stay.

Our stay at this property was great. We enjoyed morning coffee on the little patio overlooking the water. The property had everything we need for our stay. We were able to prepare breakfast in the unit every morning and we could, if we wanted, prepare other meals. The area offer a nice selection of small food outlets that we enjoyed. A hand rail on the outside stairs would have been helpful.

Our trip was a getaway for peace and quiet. We had a wonderful stay, did some of the walks and a wonderful offshore trip with Subtidal Adventures. It was a beautiful stay, we got to watch Bald Eagles get food and deer forage from our deck. Everything we were looking for in our trip
