Too bad for us that it rained when we were there but our rental made our stay at mammoth a good one.

Reviewer Comments: Mountainback #105 was a wonderful place to stay with our family, We had 10 people but the unit was very spacious and set up just right for our time together. We realized we were short a few towels and low on dish soap and trash bags but the management was quick to accommodate. Checking in and out was quick and easy. There were lots of games and puzzles in the unit, the spa was a short distance away and those of us who wanted to hit the slopes earlier than the rest could easily walk to Canyon Lodge. All in all, it was a great trip and we’re all looking forward to coming back!

Reviewer Comments: Found a partial can of Truly hard seltzer hidden behind the TV in the master bdr, sesame seeds and crumbs on the desk by the bunkbeds, no dish sponge for washing dishes by hand and no dishwasher detergent to use in dishwasher. (Explains why some of the dishes in the cabinets were not very clean. No fire-starter or matches for wood burning stove, so we had to go to the main office to pick them up in the middle of a massive snow storm. Nice location and prefect amount of space for our family trip, but a lot was overlooked in the cleaning and preparation of the space prior to our arrival.

First time to Mammoth four our group of 9 and we all had a blast!

Great spacious place for all 8 of us. Very convenient to Canyon Lodge and very close to the village.
