There are few places that can still be called a real Colorado ski town, and

Crested Butte is one of them. There are no traffic lights, no chain stores and

no high-rise buildings. Yet you’ll quickly see there’s no shortage of

entertainment and dining options-all run by some of the most welcoming people

you’ll ever meet.

Located off the beaten path of I-70, Crested Butte is known for more time on

the slopes and less time in lift lines. The 1,547 acres of ski-able terrain

offers something for every skiing ability. With over half the mountain geared

to intermediate and beginner skiers and a centrally located base area; it is a

great place for families and groups with all ability levels. For the more

adventurous skiers and snowboarders Crested Butte is a dream with some of the

best lift-served extreme terrain in the nation. Home to first winter X games,

the longest extreme skiing competition in the world, quirky costume events,

and our friendly vibe, Crested Butte is a place you want to add to your skiing

and snowboarding bucket list. If you aren’t a big skier or snowboarder, there

are still a plethora of activities for you to enjoy as well- surrounded by 1.7

million acres of national forest, you can snowshoe, fat bike, and cross

country ski, right out your door in any direction.

This place is in a fantastic location in Breckenridge! It's close enough to walk into downtown for dinner which we did every night. It's easy access to the slopes (we walked to Peak 9 every day to get on the mountain) or there is a shuttle 1 block away that you can catch to get to other parts of the mountain. The condo is fully stocked with everything you could need, it's clean and well taken care of. The only drawback we had during our visit...the last night we were there the hot tub water level had dropped low enough during the day that the heater had shut off for the hot tub so it was too cool to use. I looked for a hose bibb nearby to fill it up but couldn't find one. We had kept the cover on, so it must have just gottne low enough over time. The hot tub is a huge appeal for the kids, so that was a bummer, but at least it was just one night.

We enjoyed our stay in this condo. It was within walking distrance to the lifts. It was recently updated and very nice. Onsite parking was appreciated along with ski storage locker. We would definitely stay here again on our next ski trip to Crested Butte

We made reservations in December for a Feb 4th-6th stay to celebrate my husband's retirement; as we were preparing to leave our house for the 5-hour drive down to Crested Butte, we called the lodge to ask a question--that's when they told us our property had been cancelled back in December due to double-booking. Nobody told us--no emails, no phone calls. It was too late to find a comparable property; we eventually got our money back, but the retirement trip was ruined.

We have been skiing at Crested Butte for the past 10 years and are always looking for a place that is convenient, clean, and part of a wonderful vacation. This lovely condo did not disappoint. There was a small maintenance issue when we first arrived, and the front desk addressed it immediately. The maintenance staff was super nice and efficient. Very comfortable beds and cleanliness was great.. There is a short walk uphill to the lifts, but not a problem at all - super close and you don’t have to take a bus. We recommend carrying the family skis and poles up to the lifts before 9am, while wearing snow boots as it can be slippery. Then when everyone is ready to go out skiing, they can walk in ski boots right to the rack and get going. There is a very convenient ski locker included to store your skiis overnight. I’m sure this would be a great location any time of year. Thanks for another wonderful ski trip!

Great 2-bedroom unit on Mt Crested Butte. Perfect for our family of five while we hiked/explored the area this summer. Photos are accurate. Loved being able to make our own meals in the kitchen, enjoyed the mountain view. FYI, unit is located on first floor (one up from the ground floor) right next to small parking garage (we kept the shutters on windows facing that way closed for privacy). Cute stream running by the property meant we heard gurgling water outside, not noise from the nearby road/parking garage.
