Mountain-top villa with mountain views, fireplace, gourmet kitchen & loft

Honestly, I would not stay here again due to lack of cleanliness. We were charged a significant cleaning fee, yet it appeared there was only a quick tidy-up job that was done before we arrived to make it look clean. The bed sheets in master bedroom appeared not to have been changed. Somebody's dirty sock was between the sheets as well as long black hairs on sheets. Hairs and particles on floor as well (not vacuumed). Pillow stains. Refrigerator had food stains that would have only taken 20 seconds to wipe out. Kitchen sink was not clean. Toilet in master bathroom not clean...smelled bad first time I opened the lid. Dirty oven mitt in kitchen drawer should have been thrown away and replaced a long time ago. Only one old kitchen towel. However bathroom towels were nice and appeared clean. We slept in the smaller bedroom the first night since those sheets looked clean. I washed the master bedroom sheets the next morning. I told the chat bot that I wanted a partial refund of my cleaning fee but they just send you in circles. They asked for pictures, I sent them and then they start all over asking the same questions. I prefer to rent from private owners in the future. I've had much better experiences from private owners who genuinely care about their guests experience. The condo itself is nice and has a nice view. It just doesn't appear to be loved anymore. It's a good unit for those who do not want to deal with stairs (no stairs from parking lot to the front door).

This is the third year in a row that we’ve stayed in this place and we absolutely love it. Will be returning again next year.

This villa was perfect for a quick escape to Banner Elk before Christmas. The den opens to a vaulting ceiling with gorgeous views of the mountains. We relaxed on the deck, even though temperatures were chilly. Den furniture is rustic yet modern, and tasteful -- very comfortable too. We enjoyed the stone fireplace. Kitchen table is huge, and the kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed -- even nice wine glasses. The beds were quite comfortable. We highly recommend this villa!

Overall great weekend stay and beautiful mountain view.

Me and my adult son and two of his friends went up on the Martin Luther King holiday. This is the second year in a row. We’ve stayed at this place and we love it.

Property was beautiful, to the views outside and decor inside the home. Home was clean, plenty of space, comfy beds, and had great location. Would definitely come back!

The leaf color from this room was fantastic.

This particular unit at the Reserve is very easy to access. You can walk to the front door without having to navigate stairs. This was very nice. The kitchen is very well stocked and the unit is very comfortable. We initially had some trouble getting the television to work and getting a sliding glass door open but thankfully our granddaughter helped figure it out. We did call customer service at the Vacasa but unfortunately they did not get back to us until 72 hours later. We checked in on a Friday and they did not call us until late Monday afternoon. Had our granddaughter not been there to help us out this would have been a huge problem.

Can’t get closer to the slopes. Clean, well maintained, great view, short drive to restaurants and grocery stores. Perfect for a long weekend.
