HOME DETAILS

The Copperbottom condominiums is an older but well maintained construction in Park City. The building has an added layer of security, with a code being required to enter through the building's front door. Many of the other units inside the building are also used for vacation rentals as well as permanent residents, so we ask that all guests be respectful and mindful of the home and the others in the community.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

- No smoking.

- No pets allowed.

- There are no washers or dryers in the unit, but there are coin operated laundry machines in the basement of the building.

- The community hot tub is located in the basement and its hours and general management is overseen by the HOA not PMI.

- There is elevator access to the 3rd floor as well as stairs.

- There is no AC, but there is a portable AC unit that is set up during the summer months.

- Water is heated by a boiler system, which means hot water takes a little longer to come through the pipes than from a gas water heater.

Nestled in the heart of town the Copper Bottom Inn has a unique and landmark presence in Park City. Less than a block to hit the slopes at Park City Mountain Resort and only a 5 minute drive to Deer Valley. Catch the free bus line right in front of the condo building.

My friend and I came for a week long ski trip and had a great time. The location was great, easy to walk to park city base each morning, and was walkable to grocery store, Walgreens, and liquor store. Main Street is about a 30min walk or one stop on the free bus. The kitchen is small but had enough basic equipment for us to make breakfast and a packed lunch each day. We usually ate dinner out.My friend’s husband joined us over the weekend and with 3 people it was a little cramped as we needed to use the pullout couch, but we were on the slopes most of the day so it didn’t bother us.If you spend a lot of time in the apartment, the place is perfect for two people but would be a little cramped with more. Check in and check out were easy, the apartment was clean, and the host was very responsive to questions. They kindly allowed us a late check out so we could ski our full last day. Would definitely stay again!

Mountain Flurry was a genuine treat. Every aspect of our two-week stay was memorable. The rental process was very smooth, instructions were clear and the condo was user-friendly. The Copper Bottom condo building is well situated, very clean and itself amazingly quiet. It was an easy walk to the supermarket and Walgreens. Special was the easy to use free Park City bus that stopped at the parking lot edge.In sum; Mountain Flurry is five stars!

Easy check in and great location! It was a short walk to shuttle stops and grocery store. Keyless entry was so convenient.

I would give this unit a 4+star review it was clean, comfortable and a good location except for some road noise, but the check-in process was difficult. We needed two entry codes (one for the building and one for the unit) we were only given one code. And turns out it wasn’t correct, the numbers were jumbled. A resident let us into the building and gave us the building code, we got vrbo to help us figure out the jumbled unit code before we were able to get in. There was no way to communicate (that I could figure out) with the owner or property manager, all of the communication I received was by donotreply email. VRBO came to the rescue!

We were so grossed out that we left after our 1st night despite paying for 5 nights. The issues ranged from cleanliness (dirty dishes & utensils, no clean sponge provided, shower drain cover filled with hair, dusty surfaces in basic places like the nightstands and dresser, dirty dresser drawers) to broken furniture and appliances (broken chair, broken dishwasher that was filthy & foul smelling inside, fridge and dishwasher were not secured in their housing such that you could not open either one without the entire appliance sliding out). The fan also didn’t seem to work properly, as the unit got hot at night despite the heat being off and temps being in the teens. The unit itself has the odor of an old building, and the linens smelled musty. We asked the host to allow us to cancel and to refund us for the remaining nights we did not stay but they refused. They have a no cancellation policy, yet we felt this ask was reasonable given that this was not our fault - instead they failed us by renting a place that needed multiple repairs and a deep clean before being listed again. Their only offer was a 15% discount, and sending the cleaners to come again (which did not fix much). The property manager also came to look at the dishwasher, and said a repair tech would need to come the next day, which would have been the 3rd person interrupting our stay. The host did not seem to have any care about our experience or to even understand how unacceptable the condition of the unit was.

Copperbottom Inn is centrally located, close to all in Park City. Walk to stores, easy bus to downtown. Unit is comfortable, small but adequate kitchen, two small bathrooms, with updated and nice showers/tubs. Bed comfortable, but bedding could be renewed. Property manager very responsive, fixed a Wi-Fi issue quickly. Best part: great views to mountains.

The unit is as advertised and in a terrific location just north of downtown Park City. Easy access to bike paths (a negative was not being able to store bikes inside) and bus stops. Fresh Market and Walgreen’s walking distance. Drawback was no A/C and it got hot a couple of days. Luckily it cools off at night and doors can remain open. Two full baths for just 2 of us a definite plus.

The views of the ski area from the balcony are beautiful. The balcony overlooks the Jan's ski shop parking lot. The layout for this small space was quite efficient. The appliances, bathroom and flooring were nicely done. The furniture, however, was inexpensive and very uncomfortable. As was mentioned in previous posts about this property- the closet was jammed full of old pillows and bedding- leaving little room for guest storage.
