Stayed Jan 22, 2026We had a great stay. The cabin was clean and location was great... very close to Beech Mountain resort. Checkin and checkout was clear and easy. No issues. Would recommend.

Stayed Oct 10, 2025We really loved the view from our unit. Lots of wildlife. Even had a buck sleep most nights outside the downstairs bedroom window. We didn’t use the upstairs but there is a nice bedroom and a room for small kids. Downstairs was laid out nice. Area is very nice. Looks like a Hallmark movie at night. We were disappointed, however, with the cleanliness of the unit. When we arrived none of the heaters were on so it was 58 degrees in the unit. When we walked in the downstairs bedroom, my husband walked straight through a cobweb. When we figured out the lights, there were a lot more cobwebs that I cleaned before we’d sleep in there. The window sill in the living room was filthy, as were the floor heaters. There was lip prints on the first glass I pulled out of the cabinet and black sticky stuff on another. I washed all dishes we used before we put food on them. There was also conditioner on the wall in the shower. We never got the WiFi to work in the unit which was our biggest issue. We could get some apps to work on our phone, but with no internet connection we had trouble locating things to do or places to eat. We almost missed out on reservations to Grandfather Mountain (last time we were in the area reservations weren’t required) but lucked out when we went down to Banner Elk to eat breakfast. Since we could only send VRBO messages when we were connected to WiFi, contacting the property manager was harder. They never sent anyone to troubleshoot.We’d still return though.

Stayed Aug 8, 2025We came for the weekend and enjoyed our stay at the condo. Beech Mtn is beautiful and this place was nestled on the hillside. Very convenient if your trip includes going to Beech Mountain Resort or Beech Mountain trails.

Stayed Aug 4, 2023This was our first VRBO booking and first trip to Beech Mountain. We were delighted with both! The condo was BEAUTIFULLY decorated in tasteful rustic/ski/mountain decor. It comfortably slept our family of five for our two-night stay. The condo is located a short drive from the summit of Beech Mountain, including the slopes and restaurants. It’s about a 15-minute drive down the mountain to the town of Banner Elk. We stayed for a weekend in August. There was no AC, but opening the windows and letting the cool mountain air in kept us comfortable. Fans were also provided by the property. We enjoyed our mornings sitting on the deck, taking in the cool mountain air, the wooded views and local wildlife. What a wonderful experience! It’s not the most spacious condo, but it’s gorgeous. We loved it!
