Modern Oceanfront Luxury in Puamana

The location of this rental cannot be beat! We had an amazing view and sounds of the the ocean waves 24/7. You stay here for location and the fact they have have multiple pools so kids have option for beach fun and pool. I was super bummed that our rental had roaches - multiple (between 5-10 each night, big ones). Last thing you want you want on vacation is to be waking up to them racing down the hall, in the sink, on the counters, etc. It was disgusting. We contacted management and they were very responsive and had someone come out the next day to spray. We’d hoped that would fix it but we still had multiples big roaches each day, despite cleaning all surfaces and putting food in the fridge, etc, per a previous guest’s recommendation. It was so bad we relocated to a hotel and ended up paying double which sucked - no one wants that. I’d recommend connecting with management ahead of time to check when the last spray was before booking. We also had hunks of old soap in the shower when we checked in so would check in that.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location is fantastic. It is in an oceanside gated community just south of Lahaina on Maui. This unit has beachfront, easy beach access, a view of Lanai, and gorgeous sunsets. My family and I spent 3 days there and wished it was a week. I surfed every morning. Outdoor fresh water shower and patio.

Overall, we really enjoyed our stay! - The property is in a great location, just a couple of miles from Front Street (downtown) where there are so many restaurants, retail shops, art galleries, etc... - You are literally beachfront (beach access is maybe 50 feet away) so you get a great ocean breeze plus crashing waves to help you really feel relaxed. - Having a full kitchen, dishwasher and washer/dryer are absolute must's when you have 4 adults + 4 kids sharing the space. - There were also like 2 boogie boards and paddleboards and a grill if you're interested. A few areas for improvement: - The living room is rather dated and the couch was questionable in terms of whether or not you wanted to lay your head down... we were counting on using this as an extra bed but there wasn't extra bedding (we did notify the owner that we were having 2 additional guests at an additional price). - The bathrooms were somewhat updated but the draining in the front (non-ensuite) didn't drain (or drained extremely slowly). - There were AC units (thank you!) but the rooms were rather small and bc the AC unit in the master bedroom sat on a table next to the bed, my head was literally next to the AC unit (needed earplugs to fall asleep).

We tend to hang out all together as a family in our accommodation a good amount when we travel, so we were looking for a place that would feel like we were in Hawaii while also being a comfortable place to spend a lot of time. This was perfect, with good space for all 6 of us to be, nice facilities to cook, and a great lanai. Great views and ocean sounds right out the window, and everything we needed. We enjoyed the community pool and sense of privacy. Not ultra fancy, but comfy and complete. Our only regret was not staying a few more days! Teenagers said they would love to come back again.

The property was as good as advertised and met my expectations. Right on the beach. Can't beat the views. It was close to Lahaina but fair enough away so that it was very peaceful and tranquil. Great family friendly property.

The property was perfect for us. We loved the ocean views and sunsets. Wish me had more of them :). Would highly recommend the property for its quiet and private nature. Well located.

We had an amazing time at this property; the location is fabulous, right on the ocean. We loved waking up to the sounds of the crashing waves. The condo is clean and nicely appointed; we were able to cook most of our meals at home. Loved swimming in the pools and walking the beautiful grounds of Puamana, and the location just south of Lahaina is absolutely perfect. We would definitely stay here again!

We’ve stayed in this complex 6 years ago but in a condo back from the ocean. This one is just steps away from the ocean and is a wonderful place. We enjoyed eating on the lanai and at the dining room table. We could see the whales while we cooked in the kitchen or ate at the table or on the lanai. This place is described perfectly. What a beautiful place with everything you could need. The only thing was the washer went out before we arrived and didn’t get fixed while we were there which was okay for our short 6 day stay. No need to do laundry. The only minor thing that needs fixing is the trim on the master bathroom door needs to be replaced. I highly recommend staying at this beautiful place!!! What an experience and great memories!!

My family of 30 yr old sons, my hubby and I enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere of staying here! Sounds of the surf & birds partnered with the shady lanai set the perfect atmosphere to relax, play cards and enjoy our valuable time together. Thx

I was not personally able to be there because of my husbands illness, but the family told me that the place was so nice, well furnished and beautifully located.
