Modern 11th Floor Beachfront Condo | Views/Pool

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Property managers at Tradewinds onsite and responsive. Marco Island Vacation properties very responsive to any matters relating to initially renting the condo and the few times I had to contact them during my stay in condo. I also liked the hospitality app very user friendly and relevant. The condo furniture was very tired, sofa was soiled, most linens smelled and/or were in poor condition. Carpet had been cleaned to many times and stains resurfaced within a week, King bed very comfortable, bedroom/ office and closets nice but were full of owners stuff had to make room for my things before I could unpack. Murphy bed very uncomfortable. Condo not good for more than 3 people (i.e. a couple and a guest, that’s not looking for a restful sleep). I liked the Tradewinds property and amenities but do not recommend this particular condo in its current condition.

Morning walks on the beach, coffee on the balcony, second bedroom with Murphy served as an office-by-day. The pool and all grounds are well kept.

I am so very pleased. My unit was immaculate and very bright airy and inviting...much more than I expected. The pictures did it no justice.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our Tradewinds condo stay had its ups and downs. The view was amazing as was the location. Our sunsets from the balcony were spectacular and the condo, although dated, was cozy and perfect for my husband and me. We have spent several years enjoying caring for grandchildren and this was our first year taking a month to escape the frigid temperatures of Wisconsin to enjoy the warmth of Florida. The condo was well stocked with most things we needed and the king bed very comfortable. There is much carpeting throughout and although we removed shoes upon entering, we had a small problem with white carpeting with previous stains surfacing. New doors and windows were beautiful but we contacted the front desk 3 times to alert them to center door problems with the lock. Since a different company installed them, the current company was not interested in “fine tuning” the lock problem. Another problem was the front door lock. On New Years Eve we were locked out and keys did not work. Several other owners and renters from our floor tried the lock with no luck. The locksmith told us that all locks in building had been replaced and at least 10 new keys had to be redone, so we weren’t the only ones with key problems. After locksmith worked on key we had no more problems getting in and out. The biggest disappointment was in the month of January the windows were being replaced above the pool. The pool was closed for 3/4 of the month. We received an email a week before arrival letting us know there would be construction and doors replaced, we did not however, have notification that the pool was closed. We came specifically for warmth and pool so we were very disappointed to say the least. Overall we loved Marco Island, our condo and our special time together celebrating our 70 th birthdays and 45 years of marriage. We hope to return next year and would love to return to our condo knowing the pool will be open and problems solved.
