About this space
Are you looking for a modern, fresh, well lit apartment with lots of amenities You will enjoy our apt. We offer high speed Internet(100 mbps), rooftop, AC, hot water, fully equiped kitchen, private entrance, and much more. We are also centrally-located, 3.8 km to the Historic Center. We are in a private and quiet community with 24/7 security. Our community has delicious pupuserias, small stores, and a fresh market. Discounts to a beach property when you book with us!
<br>The space
We are in the area of San Salvador Centro, meaning it is close to the Historic Center. Vrbo has categorized our apartment to be in close proximity to El Boquerón. Be aware that in distance, yes, we are close to El Boquerón. In real life-traffic conditions we will get there in an hour or so. On a Sunday, you can get there in 30 min.

The apartment is on the second floor with an independent entrance. It is an open concept design, which combines living room and full kitchen with enough windows for air ventilation, bedroom with AC, kitchen with essentials, T.V where you can connect your personal apps, a laundry room with washer, iron, ironing board, and a back balcony with a basin for hand-washing. There is a full bathroom with hot water and essentials.

Please take note of this before you book a stay. The T.V has no normal cable. You can connect your own apps such as Prime video, YouTube, Netflix, etc. On your final day of stay, please disable your apps. You can watch free YouTube movies if you don't have personal apps.

You will also have a private terrace on the third floor. There you have a BBQ grill, tables and chairs, and a hammock. The view is spectacular to San Salvador volcano and mountains surrounding San Salvador. You will have a relaxing time. Past guests have loved the views. The camera installed there is not functional, not connected to anything. We haven't removed it for now because it will ruin the ceiling.

We have an extra layer of security in the neighborhood. Our neighborhood has private security 24/7/365. Be aware that per the security protocol, we must ask you for your identification.

Longer Stays (more than 15 days) an additional cleaning fee of $25 will be requested. Stays that are over a month, will require extensive cleaning. We will request a cleaning fee of $50 up to 45 days of stay. This is in addition to the initial fee for shorter stays. All additional cleaning fees will be requested throughout Vrbo.

Guest access
Per Home Owners Association Safety Protocol: ALL Vrbo guest must provide proof of identity by providing a copy of ID or passport and name of party responsible for the reservation prior to arrival to host via Vrbo chat (picture of front side of document). Non-negotiable, this is a community rule.

The community has entry times as follows: 5am-7pm, you will use the normal entry gate on 11th street. From 7pm -5am, you will use the exit gate on 7th street as it stays open 24h/7. If this sounds confusing to you, please text us, and we will help you to have a smooth arrival. The community has security guards that ask everyone where they are going. You will tell them the house number and isle name. All this information will be given to you prior to your arrival. This protocol is for everyone's safety.

The apartment is not facing the street. You will enter an isle which has 12 small apartments. Our apartment is in the middle of the isle. You will have access to find it, step by step with pictures 48 hours prior to your arrival. You will use living room with ACE, kitchen, 1 bedroom (with AC), laundry area, and terrace. One extra room is not for guest use. Be aware that you will use stairs to the second and third floors.

Other things to note
Our tropical region allows us to have all year round amazing weather; however, the humidity and heat attracts insects that you might not be used to. Don't be afraid! Come prepared with mosquito repellent in case you need it. My apartment is well equipped to keep insects out, but sometimes nature finds a way. You might see geckos around, but they are harmless. They will be afraid of you!
Other considerations:
-Don't leave food uncovered out of the refrigerator, ants could visit you. They love sugar.

**Air Conditioning**
Electricity is VERY expensive in El Salvador, so please use it only when necessary and when using it please ensure that the doors and windows closed. Both AC units are normally set to 23 C(75F) and I ask that you don't use the AC when not in the apartment. If it is not too hot, please consider using the fan and open all living-room windows. Thank you for your consideration, this helps me to give you reasonable prices for your vacations.

Day Pass at a Beach House!
If you want to enjoy a private beach property for the day, I offer you a day stay of 12 hours for $100 per day at my private beach house (low season months), $150 (high season time). Check my other listing for pictures. You will have access to the pool, huge garden/parking lot, charcoal BBQ, relaxation station with beautiful hammocks, two living rooms, kitchen, 1.5 bathrooms, 2 outdoor showers, pool towels, beach chairs, and a cooler. You'll also have available a beach tent (request it if you need it).
Note: Beach house is subject to availability. Book in advance with me. Will require a deposit of 50% (non-refundable).

Additional rules
No parties
$500 will be charged for damages to the property.
Do not bring sand to the apartment. Leave the sand at the beach.

Only travelers register through Vrbo or with the host are allowed to be in the apartment. No different guests (male or female) allowed every night.
