This was our first time staying in Kahana. It was much quieter than Kaanapali or Kihei where we usually stay. It was a great location. The property is older, but nice. There was no AC in our unit, which was fine for us, but might be an issue for others.

We absolutely loved our stay! Everything was wonderful! We would definitely stay here again!

My only complaints are that they didn't provide tissues, no real BBQ utensils, and the other utensils were cheap.

Kahana Sunset and Sullivan Properties under-promised and over delivered. We LOVED the private beach, complete with it's own family of sea turtles regularly hanging out in the coral just past the sand. The view from the condo across the well manicured lawns and pool and out to the ocean was spectacular from both the main room and the master bedroom. We loved being able to see both Lanai and Molokai from our porch. The condo itself was clean and updated. The kitchen was well stocked, and the wifi and TV worked great. The beds were comfortable, including the pull out couch in the living room. And there were even amenities we weren't expecting - like boogie boards, beach towels, table games, and an ice cooler. We also loved the location. Honolua Bay, amazing snorkeling, and the wildness of the northern Maui tip were right around the corner. And we were just a step away from Kaanapali and all you can do in that resort area. We also did several trips for dinner to Lahaina, which was only about 20 minutes away. The check in and check out process was super easy, well communicated, and went without a hitch. We never had to really interact with management, but it felt like we could have easily done so had we needed to. Overall, we LOVED our stay at Kahana Sunset! We'd do it again and would highly recommend it to anyone considering Maui and wanting a low key, quiet private beach atmosphere.

New bedspreads and new fans upstairs would make the bedrooms more comfortable. I would not have chosen this location for my families visit I had been informed of a very noisy exterior painting project going on. The constant annoying beep beep of the heavy equipment made nap time impossible. Otherwise, I would recommend this property.

Dirty and stained bedding and mattresses, dirty window screens, dust balls on walls, dirty and dated carpet, sticky handrails and cabinet knobs, leak under bathroom sink, broken TV upstairs, broken electrical outlet. Needs paint refresh. Very noisy upstairs bathroom fan.
