Maui Kamaole #J-103 Ground Floor, Full A/C, Across Kamaole III Beach, Hot Tub

In a word, thoughtful. From the rental company communications to the included features in the unit, it's obvious they put some serious thought into what the guest needs. Need coffee? There's a keurig machine with/without reusable cartridge, a drip machine, a tea kettle, and even a frother. Going to the beach? There are snorkels, fins, chairs, towels, boogie boards, floats, etc. I could go on, but you get the idea. Having access to 2 pools in the community (one immediately across the parking lot, which we didn't initially notice) was a nice touch. There's a diagonal trail/steps that make for an easy walk to Kam III (good for sunset). Most other things aren't walkable unless you're looking for a 1mi walk or more. But it's a very short drive in either direction to get to good snorkeling spots, food, etc. Check out Kam I for snorkeling/turtles. Check out South Maui Fish Co for awesome fish tacos & poke. Check out Maui Sweet Shoppe if you're tired of shave ice and want some really good ice cream. Those were our favorites in the Kihei area. Our only problem was a trail of ants on one wall of the master bathroom. And even for that they had Terro bait traps in the closet. After seeing this, we kept all open food in the refrigerator to avoid attracting them and we had no problems outside the bathroom. It's somewhat typical for Hawaii, so we didn't think it was a huge negative, but it's also not ideal. Overall, it was a great experience and we would stay there again.

This property was a lot larger than we expected, was in excellent condition in a quiet complex. They had a closet full of accessories for the beach which saved us a ton of money and effort on purchasing the items ourselves. The Tours know the complex and can pick up right at the registration office. I would recommend anyone to stay here and would absolutely stay again myself.

The condo is beautifully decorated and very well equipped. It had top quality bed linens and bath towels, clean, comfortable furniture and bed. It appears to be very well maintained unlike many rental condos.

Our stay was incredibly relaxing and completely worry-free – everything was perfect from the moment we arrived.We truly felt like we were in a home away from home. Everything was as expected if not better. There is no view from this property. The privacy was really good and it was very quiet. The condo is stalked with everything you need and everything is in great condition. The parking is close and much appreciated. Everything in the condo from the bed to the couches are very nice. The bar stools are really too high for the counter top .

The property is gorgeous. The condo is well maintained, clean and well stocked with everything required for enjoying the island. We encountered an issue with the fridge not working and both the rental company and the owner were very responsive and helpful to resolve the issue and not let it impact our vacation. The location is wonderful, close to beaches and walking distance to shopping and restaurants. The parking spot is just steps outside the door to the condo, making it easy to load and unload groceries, luggage, etc. One of the pools is directly across the parking lot, providing easy access for a swim. We will definitely stay here again.

I’ve stayed on Maui many times and this was one of the best units I’ve stayed in. It was clean and properly stocked. The pictures are true to how the unit looks. Quiet and off the main road. Would stay here again.

Some things that made the condo/stay even better than expected was the attention to detail. The kitchen had everything we needed and more like wine glasses and tupperware, pots/pans, to make delicious and homey meals. The closet had beach chairs, mats, snorkel gears, and coolers for all the hiking, beach, and adventuring we wanted to do. It was a beautiful and peaceful place to stay!

The condo was very clean, fully stocked with everything we needed for meal preparation, and the check-in/check-out process with Maui Rentals was easy and professional. We were impressed by the quantity and quality of the towels, soap, etc. in the bathrooms and kitchen. We really liked the proximity of this unit to the grotto style pool and the privacy of the lanai. The lanai also had two nice recliners that were not shown in the photo that were a pleasant surprise. We enjoyed our morning walks on Keawakapu Beach which is within short walking distance from the condo. Kam III Beach was right across the road for sunset viewing. I also need to give a shout out to Maui Rentals for great customer service. We had an issue with a large kitchen knife getting stuck in the knife block in a kitchen drawer which impeded the drawer from opening more than a couple of inches. Totally operator error on our part, but when I called in the issue the man on the phone (Jess?) was so friendly, understanding, and professional. He greatly reduced our embarrassment and stress level for jamming the drawer. Nothing but a positive experience renting from Maui Rentals. We would definitely stay here again.
