We have always enjoyed this rental condo

Nicely renovated, larger one bedroom unit across the street from some of Maui’s best beaches.

Condo was excellent. Enjoyed the ocean view from the patio.

Reviewer Comments: We have visited Maui Many times over the past 40 years and Stayed at a wide variety of Condo's and Resorts.This unit was generally clean and neat. However, mold was found on the refrigerator door and main shower door, as well as a lot of dust in various places throughout. The Bed was extremely uncomfortable and noisy as well. This unit is on the ground floor and the unit above can have up to six people. The pipes from upstairs run in the walls on the ground floor. We probably only slept well about 3 nights (when the unit above was temporarily vacant) of our 14 night stay due to the noise from upstairs... Doors slamming, people talking loud, toilet flushes and showers at all hours, etc. The out door furniture needs replacing and the beach gear is failing and includes a broken beach umbrella. A simple kitchen utensil (cheese grater) would have been helpful. There are 2 pools that both have Jacuzzi Hot Tubs. However, the Jacuzzi jets did not work at either pool. We let management know, but no fix during our stay.

The place was very nice and the location was great. The whole property was very well maintained. I would definitely stay again.

When we arrived, there was a puddle in the kitchen caused by the ice maker in the fridge. It was quickly resolved/repaired after a call to Maui Rentals. Feedback: bed was too soft and bottom sheets didn't fit well.

Reviewer Comments: The condo was well stocked with linens, comfortable bed, adequate kitchen supplies, air conditioning, great lighting, lovely decor, and nicely landscaped. All appliances functioning well. We did have a couple of unwanted visitors; including a couple of roaches, a giant centipede, and repeated knocks on the door from the Jehovah's witnesses. The JWs were the only visitors that really disturbed us though. The insects kinda come with the territory in the tropical environment. We had challenges enjoying the pools as they were always overrun with poorly supervised children who were throwing water toys at each other, screaming constantly, and generally running amuck. But the pretty beaches nearby were a much better option for sunbathing. We really enjoyed being a five minute drive from several amazing beaches.

This was a super clean, well updated unit with great ocean views. Nicer than many hotels we’ve stayed in. So much space for 2 people! Would definitely seek this unit out to stay again. We’ve stayed in 2 other Maui Kam units and this one was for sure the nicest. Only complaint is the property manager company makes you open a file on a desktop computer or download an app if you’re doing it from your phone. They should have a mobile optimized site, it’s bizarre to download an app for a short term rental when you forget to open something on desktop before your trip.
