Maui Kamaole #A-109 Spacious, Ocean View, Full A/C, Across Kamaole Bch III

Beautiful property. Clean. Nicely decorated. Great location!

Great unit. Everything was perfect. Love the extra touches and polish.Love Maui Kamaole, it is a very consistent property, we have stayed here many many times and always loved it.

The view was excellent, the was condo was nice. But we had constant small ants on the kitchen counter and stove top from the moment we arrived until we left. We Had to take out the garbage daily and spray raid on surfaces daily to try and control the ants. The bedroom A/C smelled musty and of mildew, so we were unable to use it. And there was heavy stomping traffic in the unit above us, all week long. There is currently a drought in Maui making everything brown. Crime seems to be up during the weekends as security guards our posted in the local stores in Kihei during weekends only. Maui is not the tropical paradise it used to be.

Location is good - about half a mile walk to Kam 3 beach, however we used a car due to condo being uphill. Views were great! AC in bedroom and in living room was working fine (a little noisy but it never bothered us). People staying upstairs above us were way more noisy, even after 10 running and moving furniture, at least this is how it sounded.This condo has everything you need for a beach day (chairs, umbrellas, coolers, beach towels, boards). I wish there was snorkeling masks too and maybe a wagon to take everything to the beach (other condos offer it).Bed and pull out sofa mattress were both comfortable. TV had basic cable, with no option to use any services such as Hulu or Netflix - in case it's important for some. For us it was not a big deal and actually good way not to watch TV for a week we stayed there. We went to closest pool and kids liked it. It was closing at 9.45 pm, but worked for us. We never visited second pool within the community.Location is great, about 25 mins from airport/Costco. There are few local stores and cafes nearby (3-5 mins drive).Very comfortable for a family of 4. Two full bathrooms is a plus! Kitchen had everything we needed.Thank you for letting us stay there!

The fan in master bedroom needs to be replaced has a humming noise. Need to leave a map on bar of where the pool is at check in. Other than that the place was great!

Reviewer Comments: I want to start by saying this comment has nothing to do with politics. The unit was very nice but the area around the complex has changed.There is a homeless problem.We experienced the homeless using the lanai for a sleeping area at night. On one occasion refusing to leave until the Maui P.D. got involved. We figured the easiest solution was to remove the lanai loungers and chairs after dark, so a couple in their 70's were moving furniture twice a day.We were told by the property management company, security would be increased,we saw them 1 time in 2 weeks, at the same time a Maui P.D. cruiser entered the complex. I hope the situation improves,it's to nice of a complex to have to deal with this.

The ceiling fans are very helpful. Kitchen was well supplied with essentials. Agreed with other renter that the outdoor furniture could use some cushions for comfort. Tip to use vinegar to clean out coffee pot and small bathroom showerhead - gets rid of mineral deposits. This wasn't a huge issue. King size bed was surprisingly comfortable. Let me tell you views from this unit are absolutely amazing!

The only downside is that they really need to add cushions to the outdoor furniture. Could only sit on the outdoor furniture for 30mins at a time.
