Stayed Dec 1, 2023Hale Ono Loa is a great location. The beach is close, the ocean is closer. Turtles galore. Easy access to main road with restaurants and food trucks close by.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Entry was dirty, door stuck and sliding glass door was filthy in the tracks, just like door. This may seem like a little picky, but first impressions are important, and things should be cleaned, even in low places. Couch was rough, we covered with a sheet and rug on lanai was ripped. Kitchen was nicely stocked, tea pot fell apart, but still usable. Nice location with nice pool area and view. We would return to this unit if it was updated with new furniture, it just felt old. Didn't want to invite our friends over.

Stayed Feb 10, 2023The property was just as pictured. It’s located in a quiet part of Maui. However, with no A/C and the windows needing to be open, you can hear everyone’s conversations at the pool and in the outside hallway by the bedroom windows as people walk by or kids run by screaming. The kitchen is well-appointed. The bathroom has a walk-in shower instead of a tub. On-site laundry. A quick elevator. The pool is well-maintained and the sundeck is a nice addition to the area. There are grills around the pool. The view from the patio was exceptional and worth the price. We could see whales and the sunset over the island off-shore (during February). At different times of the year, it may set over the water. The only problem we had was the condo association didn’t pay the Internet/cable bill so there was no wifi or TV for 2 days. We had to go elsewhere to use wifi to check into the airline for our flights home. Cell service is not reliable on most of Maui either.

Stayed Jan 11, 2023Very restful with beautiful view from the apartment and by the pool. We were able to manage without a rental car by walking to the store and taking the lical bus for a day in Lahaina town.
