Marriotts Crystal Shores - 2 Bedroom

Loved this resort. Room and grounds were wonderful and clean. Three pools and everything was well kept. Bathrooms in the pool area were spotless. Restaurants on site were good. All staff friendly! Had an ocean view room and loved everything about it. The large balcony was wonderful. There was nothing at this resort that we had any issue with or could complain about. The photos were accurate and the host gave us great communication. It was a perfect getaway.

Amazing stay! Enjoyed the activities provided and the view was incredible. The resort called the week prior to ask how they can make our stay the best. They had a list of activities and rentals available for us to review.

It was a nice unit to accommodate our two adults and two kids (8 and 11). The kids (together) had their own bedroom and bathroom, which was nice. The kitchen allowed us to save some money by cooking in for a few meals. Nice deck. The property overall was very nice. Great pools and beach. Beautiful sunsets. Safe feeling everywhere. Short walk to restaurants and beach shops. Quick drive to Publix. We had a great time.

We booked 4 nights in a 2 bedroom 2 bath room at the Crystal Shores Marriott Property through VRBO 9 months in advance. A few days before we were supposed to leave, the property called and said we had 2 different reservations, one for 2 nights and one for 1 night. They said there was a missing night - the third night. Imagine my surprise! This was not resolved for days. I finally found out that 2 reservations were pieced together a few days before and we would need to change rooms half way through the stay. This was not what we booked or expected. We spent hours packing our things and moving to another room. The resort tried to make us check out at 10 am and “wait” for our new room to be ready hours later. This was unacceptable to us. The booking was deceiving as we did NOT get 4 nights in the same room. The resort itself was clean and beautiful despite the deceiving listing and stress it caused us before and during the trip.

We had all the necessary amenities for a work trip. While we didn't get to enjoy the pools/property, it was a positive experience.

We enjoyed the step above of just staying in a hotel room. Nice to have a full kitchen to prepare breakfast. Within walking distance to great restaurants. The staff on the property were all very friendly. Beach chairs and umbrellas available for a small fee. Pool area beautiful!

For stays longer than four days, the reservation may be split into two separate stays. In our case, the stays were with two different owners that did not communicate with each other. Despite multiple requests to avoid doing so, we had to switch rooms during our 5-day stay. On the day we had to switch, they asked us to be ready to move at 10:30am. We got the green light to move at 1:30pm, or three hours later. This was unfortunately during our 2 year old's nap, which we warned the staff about days in advance. We agreed to move our stuff, but I stayed behind with our child while he slept. Housekeeping, maintenance and even a supervisor came by at least 5 different times, many times ringing the doorbell despite my requests not to. The supervisor was less than hospitable, making us feel as though it was our fault that we had to wait 3 hours to move rooms. In summary, I would not recommend booking this option if you plan to stay more than 4 nights and you've got young children. I'm not really sure how a listing like this is allowed on VRBO since one booking can become two reservations with two different owners, and the customer isn't made aware of that detail until close to the departure date.

The property & host were top notch. We can’t wait to go again!

Rooms are huuuge with plenty of room for everyone. Great location for eating or drinking. Property is really well cared for and the service was excellent.
