Marriott's Barony Beach. Beautiful two-bedroom villa!

The facilities are always very nice and clean. Staff is helpful with everything. Kids love the pools. We have been coming for 5 years and will continue to make it a tradition.

We enjoyed our entire stay at this property. Some Perks - daily text messages with a list of free or minimal fee activities for family/kids that occurred daily! Beautiful condo, very clean! The staff was so friendly and helpful! 10 stars - will stay here again next year!

Property location was perfect. Three teens in group had a great time at the resort and beach. Room was clean and spacious. Only issue was with the washer and dryer, but the property staff responded quickly and the issue was resolved.

We booked this timeshare beach club through vrbo and could not have been happier with our stay! All the villas are two bedrooms, two bathrooms so everyone has their own space. Our room was updated with “hardwood” tile and quartz countertops. The club had daily activities for adults and kids most of which were included in your stay. It was lovely and we had the best experience!! I would highly recommend booking this property through vrbo. We saved about $350 a night booking through vrbo than if we had booked through marriot directly.

The resort was beautiful, staff and service was excellent, and rooms were large and very clean. Multiple nice pools on the property, and never felt too crowded even during the busiest week of the summer. The kitchen area in the room was simple but surprisingly well provisioned. We were able to cook breakfast everyday and several small meals for our two little kids (4y and 2y) with no problem. Our only issue was, as many other reviewers have noted, there are essentially two separate property areas within the resort: the main resort (with the restaurant, gym, primary pools etc) which is on the beach, and then a second “garden” area which is a several minute walk away. There is one large family-friendly pool & splash pad in the garden villas which was a plus, but we are primarily beach-goers, so this meant we had to pack up a wagon with all of our gear and walk 5-7 minutes to the beach several times a day. I did ask before booking where our room would be and I was told “Oceanside/courtyard,” but then we were given a garden villa upon check-in. The hotel staff advised us that nearly everyone who books through a third-party vendor is usually put in the garden villas, so just know this ahead of time if beach-proximity is a dealbreaker for you. The VRBO property manager was responsive and helpful in trying to get us a room on the Oceanside, I understand is just out of their hands because it is a timeshare arrangement. Overall though, we would definitely stay here again and I would highly recommend the resort for families with little ones.

First off this place is truly a great place to stay. But if you want ocean view from your room you need to specify. I was under the impression we would get a ocean view and we got a pool view. This is the last view my family and I want to see when going to the ocean. Beware also that the price listed on Vrbo is not the true price. We were notified we got the room but it cost us $1000 more. A first time for me and I did agree to it but have never had this happen before. I have traveled a lot thru Vrbo and this is the first time I feel Mis informed. Was told it was more or less the resorts fault.

Clean, comfy! Highly recommend.

The location was great and the grounds were expansive and full of activities. The pools are nice and the rooms had everything we needed.

The resort was great. It was very clean and the whole family enjoyed it. Great amenities snd in the beach.
