A premiere slopeside 4 bedroom and 2 bath large condo just a short walk to the

lifts at Mammoth Mountain's Canyon Lodge. Perfect for a large family or plenty

of friends looking for a spacious floorplan close to Canyon Lodge! It features

a completely remodeled full kitchen with granite counter tops and stainless

steel appliances, large dining room table, card table in the living room,

vaulted ceilings, cozy fireplace and large deck with private BBQ. The master

bedroom upstairs has a queen and private bathroom. The second bedroom

downstairs has a king bed, TV, ample closet space and access to the second

bathroom. The third bedroom downstairs has two sets of bunk beds each with two

twins (for a total of 4 twin beds) and private washer and dryer. The fourth

bedroom also downstairs has a euro style bunk bed with a full on the bottom

and a twin on the top as well as a twin foldaway bed. The Mammoth West complex

has an outdoor pool (summer only), a large Jacuzzi and sauna - great for

relaxing after a long day on the slopes! All guests receive complimentary full

access to Snowcreek Athletic Club to enjoy facilities including indoor heated

pool, steam/sauna, full fitness facility, yoga, pilates and cycle studio and

more. The home has 2 levels inside, is non-smoking and is not pet friendly.

This unit has a MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY of 10 (TEN) PEOPLE and comes with two

outdoor parking spaces. Guests will be provided two parking passes. If more

parking is required than what is allotted, feel free to call our office for

alternative options. Please Note: This property makes use of surveillance

equipment outside of the home. A single camera is located at the front door

    We spent Thanksgiving break in this rental. Booking was easy, communication with rental company was amazing. They were very accommodating. Place was cozy and well equipped.

    Overall, at the price point, this is a great deal for a family with kids and a dog. Don't expect some extravagant, five-star luxury feel; but rather, expect a more rustic, family-oriented vibe. At times, I felt like I was reliving my 80s / 90s. Details below.Outdated - the cabin is generally on the older side - a lot of wear and tear on the stairs down to the front door entrance. Most of the furniture are outdated, especially in the kitchen. The curtains and sofas in the living room are on the older side. Spacious - there is a lot of space in the cabin. It's two floors, but plenty of room for the kids and dog to play on the top floor.Location - I appreciated how the cabin is situated at the top of the hill so there is more privacy. It also gave close access to the basketball courts and tennis courts.Comfortable sleep quarters - the beds, including the bunk beds, are really comfortable.

    Lots of space for our group of 10 adults. The kitchen was great for cooking & preparing food - loved the big dining room table (for eating) and living room table (for games) - GREAT STAY!

    Walking distance to canyon lodge (down a hill when going there and unfortunately back up the hill to return to the lodge). Unit was very comfortable and clean and came with more amenities than listed such as a blow dryer. There was also a communal section where previous guests left items such as salt, pepper, etc. which came handy. Loved that the listing could fit a large group of people with all real beds (no sofa beds). Would definately stay here again. Only downside was the battle to get up to the top of the hill during a snowstorm. Even with chains...not an easy task.

    The location was great but condo needs a lot of work. The living room couches are old and should be replaced. Same with most of the mattresses. The downstairs bathroom doesn't lock, the fan doesn't work, and the door to the exterior part of the bathroom doesn't close. The thermostats throughout the house should be replaced. Given its location a general upgrade would make this a fantastic rental.

    Exactly the size it looks like in the pictures! Prime location. Walking distance to the lifts and shuttle stop directly in front on the main office, super convenient!

    Overall I'd rate our experience with Mammoth West 140 as good. The condo has an awesome location, it was clean, parking in front of the condo was nice, the view of the mountain was incredible, the kitchen was nicely appointed. But I do have a few complaints to add. No internet service made having to work during my stay a hassle. In 2016, who doesn't have wi-fi available to your guests? Condo 140! The living room sofa and chairs are exceptionally uncomfortable. Management policies of no early check-in or late check-out is a bit too rigid. 10 am checkout is much too early when there is no wiggle room, especially on a ski vacation with all of the extra equipment that needs to be packed. Overall I'd rate our stay 4 out of 5 stars, if the problems above were fixed this would be the perfect condo.

    The kitchen is remodeled. Overall the unit is very clean. We loved the stay. The only downside is no internet service and signal on cellular only get a slow 4G network.

    The location was nice. Had a nice view of the mountain on the balcony. The only drawback was that one of the blinds (not a small blind, but the largest one) was broken. Although there was a post it that said do not adjust, you could not expect the renter to leave the entire blind open at all times. Sun glaring in, or no privacy at night with the blinds up. Nevertheless, I was able to semi fix the blind so it would at least stay in one position; minor issue. Besides that, our stay was awesome. Would rent again next year. Hopefully there is more snow than this year.
