I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Booking through Makani Sands (Tammy) went very smooth and easy. Tammy has always been helpful and courteous. This was our 8th time staying in this perfect location Condo. First time in a one bedroom. Access to beach front swimming/snorkeling was great. (Right out front). Barbecued almost daily. Quiet and peaceful.

The property itself is lovely, and the management staff onsite are friendly and attentive. The condo (#206) we stayed in we enjoyed very much, but there were multiple upkeep issues we brought to the management's attention.

Reviewer Comments: Makani Sands has never disappointed in all the years we have stayed at the property! The description of the unit was accurate and everything we needed we there for us. Tammy the property manager was so helpful and on top of every aspect of our stay. We come in February to see the whales and we like to do that with Captain Steve's Whale Watches (they lost their boats in the fire but you can still book through them and go out on smaller boats to get a great experience). You can watch the whales right from your lanai - just bring some good binoculars! There is so much to see and do on Maui and Makani Sands is 10/10 the best place to make your home base for a week or two!!

Stayed May 22, 2023We loved this condo. It was perfect. Close to all of the exciting sites, and yet private and friendly. Beech front views and scenic sunsets as our view made the location ideal. At night there is an amazing breeze that flows directly through the condo keeping it cool and fresh. Thank you so much for allowing us to utilize your home away from home in paradise. We will definitely be coming back.

Stayed Apr 21, 2023Spent a few days on this part of Maui and the property and location were fantastic. The ocean view was great and made for great scenes to wake up with. No A/C but the windows and fans kept the unit a perfect temp. Will stay again if we have the chance.

It was quiet and resting and relaxing with the greatest view of Maui's west ocean. It provided what we needed to enjoy a great family vacation and have access to beaches and shops.
