Majestic Sun 1005A - Great Views, Discount Golf, Discount Beach Service!

The condo had newer furniture, which was nice, the view was great. However, the primary bath tube was very dirty and black mold around the fan vent in bathroom. Vanity could use painting. Kitchen no large frying pans, they were all very small, making breakfast had to use all three very small pans. Remote controls would not work properly in the bedrooms, couldn't change the channels. I know this is no fault of condo owner, but at times could not sit outside on the balcony due to people either staying in condo under us or beside us smoking weed. Other than the items listed we did have a nice stay. Thank you

Positives - clean, roomy, and great location. Negatives - amenities few and far between. Rental located across from beach and no beach towels provided. Traveling by flight does not provide convenience for carrying towels. We had to purchase beach towels that we no longer need upon vacation end. Very little supplied paper towels and toilet paper. 1 coffee pod - we had to purchase more. Amenity listed hair dryer. There was no hair dryer. We had to purchase. Communication was terrible. The phone numbers listed to resolve such items (i.e. hair dryer) which was boasted as to provide any help needed, failed. We called 6 times, only to be put on hold and described as first caller in queue, to wait 10 more minutes, then to be told that agents were to busy and to call back or leave a callback number. Exact same sequence on all 6 calls. The 6th call, we opted for call back. While the call back # was verified, we never got a callback. Site boasted about coupons/discounts. There was 1 coupon for 50% discount for beach chair and umbrella rental. There were 4 of us. We found out that the coupon was good for only 2. The site knew there were 4 individuals renting - should provide the discount for all renters. When we rented the beach chairs/umbrellas, we found that the coupon did not apply to the area across from our rental, but further down the beach. Bad communication, bad use of discount.

The beds were comfy & unit was clean.The only thing I thought was weird was that there were no blow dryers. We travel a lot, and all units have blow dryers.

When we arrived, there were no kitchen supplies such as oven mitts, oven dishes or even salt. One day there was water coming down the wall. Maintenance did arrive quickly and took care of it. The garbage disposal exploded, and there was water all over the floor. When my husband had to take everything out from under the sink to clean up the water, there was a broken clock that someone had put there face down. When he lifted it up all the glass fell out and shattered all over the floor. The kitchen sink Nozzle had a hole in the tube so that if you tried to lift it out to spray the sink water went everywhere. The master bathroom shower did not drain well. We did really enjoy the pool and the fitness room.

Smoke stains on master bedroom shower curtain, stain on ceiling above master bedroom tub. The unit was dusty I ended up having to wipe down the surfaces and dust frames on the walls. The bedding was dirty master bedroom comforter so old and dingy smelt like it had never been washed. The washing machine had dog hair in it. The seal on the balcony door is coming off causing air to come through the door. There is a hole behind the door in the 2nd bedroom. The walls and kitchen cabinets have scratches on them. The kitchen cabinet above microwave had a razor in it. The cabinets , appliances and drawers also smelt like smoke when opened. The ac filter looks like it hasn’t been replaced in a year causing dust on the ceilings and ceiling fans. I did call an report about the smell and I was told 3 times someone would come replace filter and they never did. I was very disappointed our unit was in this condition for what cleaning fee we were charged. The view of the ocean and the pool was the best part about our stay. I never do leave reviews but considering our experience we had I thought it was necessary!

Imagine my surprise when the ac freezes up if you run it below 72! Spare room has lumpy bed. Otherwise, great
