Walk up to this quaint, boutique building (Harry Weese Historical Building) with only two units per floor.

Take the elevator, and welcome yourself to both of these freshly renovated side-by-side condos (entire floor) featuring:

* King-Size beds in both master en-suites (Sealy/Beautyrest mattresses)
* 2 Queen-Size beds with pillow-top Bamboo mattresses
* 4 full bathrooms with towels & body wash, shampoo, conditioner. One master bath has customized, jetted bathtub!
* 2 Full dining rooms with 4-6 chairs each & utensils/pots/pans/dinnerware/glasses
* Sectional sofas in each living room
* 2 Custom Chef Kitchens stocked w/ all SS appliances. East-facing kitchen has Allia sink, 2-zone wine cooler, and WOLF stove/oven.
* East & West Facing Floor-to-Ceiling Windows with views of Lake Michigan from the kitchen and living rooms (brand, new double-pane windows for entire building as of March 2025!)

Other things to note about the space:
Both Living rooms have 55” SMART TVs w/ cable provided through YouTube TV. 50 SMART TVs also in each master en-suite!

NOTE: The main elevator for the building is small, but newly renovated. It comfortably fits 4-5 people so you may have to go up to your floor staggered.

Q: Is the neighborhood safe
A: Very much so. 24 hours a day.

Q: PARKING
A: We recommend using Spot Hero app for closeby parking. It works great and this area is so safe with so many options! We won’t know until closer to check in if any of the nights for our spots will be available on-site for $35/night.

Q: Do I need to bring towels, a hair dryer, or linens
A: Nope! we provide all these things. Same with hotel-size toiletries (unless I happen to be out, which is rare).

Q: When can I check in or check out
A: Check in is 4pm and check out is 10am. Early check ins can be difficult if there are guests who checked out same day. We ask for an early check-in, or a late-check out fee, if you request either.

Q: Can I come and go as I please
A: Yes. And we wouldn't trust any listing with which this isn't the case. Also, parking is in/out access which you rarely will find anywhere around this area.

Q: Is the place professionally cleaned between guests
A: Yes, and we take pride in providing a clean home for guests, now especially more than ever!

Q: What's my total booking price
A: We honestly have no idea. With fees included, it only shows the guest how much they pay. This figure should be present after you enter your dates. Note that, pricing varies on a daily basis, and it actually uses some crazy algorithm to adjust it automatically, so I don't actually control this.

Q: Are the beds comfortable
A: Very. We have Beautyrest and Sealy mattresses. Some guests say they're the best they've ever slept on!

Q: Is this all one unit
A: No. Just to be clear these are two separate units that comprise the ENTIRE floor (10 feet across from each other). Both of these units are on the same floor of course so no elevator or stairs needed for this entire place.

    We enjoyed the location and the spacious accommodation. Communication with the host was excellent. Entry was smooth and well communicated. The apartments were clean. Some things seemed a little dated, but overall I would recommend these units. A pack and play and high chair were provided by our hosts. Some small attention to details would make this a top end rental. Beds were very comfortable but some of the pillows should be replaced. Better quality towels would also be appreciated. The kitchen supplies could also be improved. We often had to hunt between the two units to find what we needed. We found a large canister of coffee on arrival which seemed generous but it expired in 2022. It is still a great location and we enjoyed our stay in Chicago. We were a family of 6 adults and a toddler.

    Check-in and communication with the host was wonderful. As other reviews have noted (and I wish I had paid more attention to), the apartments are showing signs of wear and tear. Agree with the previous review that said the pictures don’t reflect the current state. The location is great.

    Matt & Wendy always got back to any questions I had within minutes! The two units were great, but there were some differences. I had 4 friends (one bedroom each) and we used the, what we called, main unit as a gathering place to have food/drinks. It had the better view and felt like a bigger living room or common area.The two units are separated by a small hallway and elevator (only two units per floor, so you have the whole floor).One guest complained the shower in the other unit was a little small, so they ended up sharing a shower with someone else, but you might want to review the sizes.Other than that, the beds and furniture were very comfortable. I liked the location of the unit and having a rooftop for a drink or smoke was incredibly convenient.

    Overall this was a great apartment/floor solution for the size of our family. Facility and access to it were great. It only lacked a few amenities for the group... tissues and a few more towels/wash cloths would have been nice. We were pleased with the accommodations and the owner's communications.

    Great communication with hosts and early check-in; Great location; Two units right across from each other so worked well for our group. Some easy upgrades would make this a 5: more and new towels (ours were old and bleach stained), more glassware, more living room lights, bathmats in bathrooms to prevent slips, and ensure hand soap in all bathrooms

    10E/W have us great space to relax, catch up, eat breakfast together during an otherwise very busy weekend around ChicagoLand. I hope next time we'll rent the same spot end enjoy more thoroughly the incredible location.

    The communication with the owners was wonderful. Both kitchens and family room areas were great. The location was awesome, very safe high end neighborhood right off lakeshore drive. Two blocks from Michigan Ave. The bathrooms and bedrooms are a little worn. But overall everything was great!

    We came for the SHRM conference with friends/colleagues. We had the best time. Beautiful views, great food, local attractions all in walking distance & comfortable beds. It was perfect. The owner was super responsive when and if we had questions. If we ever come back I’ll definitely look this place up. Thanks for a great place to stay! The city was beautiful!
