Stayed Feb 26, 2025We loved the location and the layout. But, for such a nice property, many details were lacking. The dishwasher was not attached and almost feel out of the cabinet. There were fall hazards with cords not being properly taped down to the floor in walking areas (a 70 year old tripped on the cord and management basically said, oh, well...sorry!) and ice accumulation on the deck was hazardous. The fire alarm went off twice in our stay due to problems in the building that the management company knew about and hadn't fixed. Not enough blankets. for the amount of money spent, we expected better.

Stayed Feb 21, 2024Great trip with friends to Big Sky. House was clean and easy to check-in and check-out. The highlight is the access to skiing. Walk 10 feet out the door and you’re on the slopes with a quick ski down to the lift, which was great for a large group. Also, the kitchen was great for making dinner after a day on the mountain.

Stayed Feb 16, 2024We spent a great Presidents Day weekend at Cowboy Heaven. The house is well kept with nice sleeping accommodations and gathering spots. The garage is very convenient and the ski in/out is easy and convenient. We would stay here again for sure.

Stayed Jan 2, 2023Our group had a wonderful time together. The garage was so nice to have to keep the car warm and ready to go. Loved having the outside storage for skiis and boots. Enjoyed the hot tub but would have been great to have the fire place working outside or a few chairs to sit in. Lots of space for groceries. Easy to get to.

Stayed Jul 14, 2022Great place, fantastic view and location. Only issue was that the 2 garbage cans in the garage were full and overflowing when we arrived. We just ended up putting our garbage bags on the floor of the garage.

Stayed Feb 17, 2022Property was excellent. We’ll appointed with everything you need. Ski in/ski out was awesome. Not having to lug your kids and their ski gear to and from the mountain every day was huge. This was a father/son trip in which the youngest son was 12 and the oldest 19. Kids loved the downstairs. Great tv/game room for them. Wifi is slow. I think it’s DSL. Don’t plan on streaming any video while you’re there. Beware of radiant heating. Tough to manage and you’ll find yourself opening doors or windows at night to cool down even though all your thermostats are set to 65 degrees. Only drawback is it took us 1.5 hours to drive to dinner one night and same to get home. Big Sky has a two lane road (one in each direction) that accesses pretty much everything. It only snowed 4-5 inches but was cold and they allow any idiot to drive on the road (ie w/o 4WD or snow tires) and they invariably get stuck or crash. Our luggage guy was 2 hours late the next day to pick us up for airport trip for the same reason. With all the growth, they need to beef up their infrastructure, particularly their roads, and out 4WD or chain restrictions in place during snow events. But, that has nothing to do with this home. Great place for large groups.

Stayed Jan 9, 2022We rented this property as a family with several older teenagers as well as a younger teen. The property is beautiful and has everything you need- we decided to use the home to meet up for lunch instead of heading down to the mountain village. We also ate in a couple of nights as well. The kitchen is fully equipped. The downstairs was great for teens to hang out and play pool. The location was fantastic as we were able to ski in and out easily. I would definitely stay here again!!!

Stayed Dec 2, 2021We rented this condo for my 50th birthday. All of our kids (ages 20-30) plus their significant others and our grandson (age 1) came with us. A group of 9 in total and the condo was plenty spacious, could have easily had another 5 people without any crowding. Easy check in/out and great communication from the property management company. We've rented many VRBOs and this one was both the nicest as well as best stocked ever. The kitchen has everything you could want including spices, and the bedding and towels were great quality. We utilized the hot tub, fireplace, chess table and games every day. We cooked nearly every meal in the condo. There wasn't enough snow to utilize the ski in/out, but the trail goes right by the back door and I imagine it would have been easy to access the slopes. We knew in advance the ski in/out would depend on snowfall, so that wasn't a surprise. We didn't utilize the Skyline shuttle, but did see it drive by the property regularly. It would have been easy to use that to shuttle to Mountain Village, but since Mountain Village is only 1.5 miles away, we just drove ourselves for skiing. We also drove to Big Sky Town Center which is about a 15-20 minute drive. We shopped and ate dinner there one afternoon/evening. Great options for everyone. Be sure to check out the distillery and brewery! We had dinner at Ousel & Spur Pizza Co. Great food & atmosphere. Be sure to make reservations. We did not venture over to Moonlight Basin ski village, none of those slopes were open yet, so I can't speak to walking accessibility from the Condo. It seemed close, but I didn't walk there. Overall, I would highly recommend this condo for a family/friend getaway.
