Unit 101 is truly one of a kind—the only ground-floor condo at Lahaina Shores where both the bedroom and living room open directly onto the ocean side. Completely remodeled, it showcases custom woodwork, elegant finishes, modern appliances, and inviting coastal décor that creates a light, airy atmosphere. The bedroom features a king-sized bed and private patio, while the living area opens onto another patio with seating that flows seamlessly to the manicured lawn and beachfront just steps away.

Awesome to be able to walk out from the lanai directly to the lawn and pool. Unit had beach chairs, snorkels, beach towels, and a fully stocked kitchen. It was clean and well maintained. APVR was very responsive (we had a small leak from condensation from the AC unit) and were great to work with.

    There was a welcome surprise when we checked in and discovered that the resort was part of the ‘World of Hyatt’. The unit is at the far end on the ground floor. As a result there is no foot traffic passing in between you and the ocean. Easy access to the parking lot and grill ( did not use). The unit is exactly as advertised, and an easily accessed white sand beach just beyond the tree line. The owners thought of everything…down to distilled water for the iron! Two item not mentioned in the unit description. One was a luau each night in an adjacent business. Being at the opposite end, it did not bother us much, but good to know, second is a public access path adjacent this end of the property. Not much of an issue, but more folks on the beach on weekends and holidays. Restaurants are in walking distance, as is access to all island activities…paddle boarding, kayaking, whale watching, etc. Lahaina is on the leeward side of the island and may get hot in the summer. It is a distance to Haleakala and the road to Hana, both probably a days excursion. Regarding Haleakala, if you plan to visit the park for sunrise, you need to have a reservation, via the nps.gov website. Regarding the road to Hana, there is not much in Hana, except maybe the state park, which you will need a reservation. Must bring items, binoculars, water shoes, sunscreen (expensive on the island). The unit has beach chairs, umbrella, and snorkel equipment for 2. We rate this rental as a 2.25 resort…with 1 being the Ritz-Carlton. Why this rating? The resort does not have a spa, restaurants, gym, poolside bar, room service, etc. BTW all the things we did not need or want. But it does have a white sand beach right out your door! Try to get that for less than a two thousand dollars a day at the Ritz

    The scenery was stunning. The area blessedly quiet — just the surf breaking on the shore Just what I needed for renewal. Close to everything I needed. Walked most places. Would definitely go back
