Stayed Mar 19, 2025A great 2 bedroom looking at the 7th green of the golf course. Large condo, huge deck, well stocked kitchen. Was some highway noise from 2nd bedroom. 10-15 minutes walking to downtown PA. 5 minutes to convenience store outside of gate. Great communication with owner and manager

Stayed Dec 29, 2020We really enjoyed our stay and the place. Denise was very accommodating. We had a bit of an issue with a/c not working in the living room, and although it took about a month to fix, we felt like all measures have been taken by the host.

Stayed Feb 1, 2019The Condo was all that the pictures show and more It is a very modern and fully equipped with everything you would need . The response from the Denise (the owner) and from the rental company if you had any questions was immediate . Victor the caretaker kept the grounds immaculate and was there for assistance if needed. The beach chairs and umbrella were a bonus .We stayed for a month and really enjoyed the condo and Puerto Aventuras and hope to return again .

Stayed Dec 31, 1969The condo is very modern and wonderfully appointed. It met all our needs and then some. The community itself had just about anything you'd want to do - beach, restaurants, dolphin discovery (you don't want to miss this!), bars, groceries, sailing, golf, and so on. We only ventured out to see ruins or other cities we were interested in. It is great for a couple and two younger kids, or friends willing to share another room. Denise and Tom also have a great book in the condo with the low down on everything. There were only a few minor hiccups and when we called the property manager she was responsive every time. I'd highly recommend this place for a trip to Mexico!

Stayed Dec 31, 1969I loved our stay in the Puerto Aventuras community. About an hour+ south of the maddening crowds and touristy vibe of Cancun, yet close to many great experiences. The condo is perfect for 4-6 (we were 3). Love the expansive patio with an eating area and a sunning area. The kitchen has everything you need for cooking simple meals, and there is a grocery right across the highway to stock up on food, beer, wine, and environmentally safe bio-degradable sunscreen and bug spray (required at many places). Nice that the condo provides a bottled water system, although the local water is overall safe. The unit is a short walk (10 minutes?) to the beach, which is beautiful and quiet. A few nice restaurants in the complex. Go out for breakfast after 9AM and get a ringside seat for the dolphin show (if you decide not to join them in the water). Our favorite dinner spot was La Caleta near the 'commercial' marina--great shrimp and fish tacos (and happy hour Margaritas). We went there twice for a quick casual dinner. Across the highway and about 2 miles south is the Eden cenote, a great local swimming hole--clear water, shade (bring your own food, towels, and bio degradable bug spray and sunscreen!) The two nearby (Azul and Chiki-han) I have also heard are good. The Omni Hotel on the PA property has a very helpful tour office. We booked a day trip with Alltournative travel to the Mayan ruins at Coba and Tulum, with lunch in a Mayan village, and swimming in a beautiful private cenote--a great day! Also booked a wonderful street food tour in Playa del Carmen (about 30 minute drive north) and enjoyed aqua fresco, tacos, tamales, mole, and the crunchy-sweet-salty dessert marquisitas from cart vendors, far away from the standard tourist venues. Don't miss Rio Secreto, about 5 miles north--a hike along and into an underground river, through a complex system of caves. They provide wet suits, flotation vests, helmets and lights. A very unique and memorable experience!! This was our first time in Mexico and I would definitely consider coming back to this area--so much to do! The Puerto Aventuras location is perfectly situated to offer quiet relaxation or access to all the adventure amenities the region is famous for.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969It was marvelous! So authentic and beats staying at a resort hotel hands down! It really integrates you into the community, but then you come home to luxury...the best of all worlds! We backpacked to the grocery store about a mile up first day of arrival for essentials, then took a taxi back for the week's groceries. We ate within the Puerto Adventuras community for dinner with Gelato for dessert most evenings, walked everywhere, as we chose not to rent a car. We would rent a golf cart if we had to do it over again, but it kept the weight off! Excursions were a blast, and things we can't do back here as we do not have a jungle, a cenote as beautiful to cliff jump into or a two seater speed boat to drive and wake jump in the ocean. We saw camels, monkey's chased our D-I-L (hilarious!), horses, dolphins, manatees, sea lions, the under world off the catamaran snorkeling (stingray's, sea turtles and I believe Dora!) So many people commented on our photos, and we have sent out your link! It was an anniversary trip and honeymoon trip for our son and D-I-L of a lifetime!
