Place was tidy and welcoming. Personal touches are a must when avoiding chain hotels. This place had em in spades.

Should have been cleaner. One towel for 5 days??? Building and unit needs some attention. Low water pressure in kitchen for entire stay.

We had a great stay at this condo! The location was perfect and the area was very low key. The condo itself was exactly as described - very clean, comfortable, and relaxing. Our favorite part was waking up to the ocean view right in front of us. Thank you for a great time!

Property is nice. View is outstanding. Spent most of our time on the deck. Appreciate the tall deck chairs. Condo needs some TLC like missing bolts, kitchen cabinets that need adjusting. Didn't care to have office light grill every time I wanted to use it. Hot tub doesn't open until 10am, should be earlier.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We were going to have a late arrival as my 7 yr size ld was sick and we had informed Padre escapes on time in the morning. We were assured that the keys would be left with the watch man of the Gulf Stream property. However when we reached there at 2am and met the security we were told he did not have the keys. Plus we were told that apparently our names were not on the reservation. We had two kids and an elderly parent and In the middle of the night we have to find accommodation at another hotel. We had to pay more around $350 for this late night booking at another hotel. The following morning when we called up the padre escapes office nobody seemed to be ready to acknowledge the problem and somebody just went ahead and canceled our whole reservation.. one of the people who were talking to since morning just left for lunch and we had to repeat tge whole story to others.. This was preposterous! Then later after us calling them several times they booked us back into the same property and at the same rate. No aologies or compensation were provided to us and it was horribly to see that kind lack of accountability!! Will never go back!

We loved the location and the home was clean except for the dishes. I kept noticing little bits stuck in cups, bowls, etc and then when we went to use the dishwasher it only stayed on for about 30 seconds. There was no cable for the first few days and we had to wait on the cable guy which ruined that days plans. I didn't want anyone in our room while we were gone, of courseLuckily, on that day we were running to the bathroom because of the dirty dishes we had used so it was going to be a day inside anyway. The only other thing that was missing from ojr stay was privacy and blackout curtains. I will definitely book again in those condos in a room that has a private Master Bedroom and one where its not so bright inside so we can sleep in a bit if we choose to. The pool was wonderful and the whole property was great! Hoping to visit again next year!

There was plenty of room in the condo and two night we had the pool and hot tub to ourselves it was marvelous. My husband who never likes to go anywhere wants to make this an annual trip with the family. Thank you for always being attentive and present for anything we needed. We will definitely be returning soon.

We didn't use the kitchen as we ate out each day, but everything we needed was there. I highly recommend this place. The people in the office were polite and the grounds keepers were friendly.

Unit 213 is great! We chose it because the back bedroom has a bunk bed set up with a huge queen bed which is perfect for our three boys we travel with. Property mgmt is super responsive (Padre Escapes). We had an issue with the AC not working and leaking water all in the unite and Padre Escapes and Gulfstream both responded quickly to resolve the issue.
