The owner/manager was easy to communicate with, and the Condo and Complex were perfect for our family and two friends. The unit was well stocked with towels, anything we needed in the kitchen, and plenty of space to spread out. We loved watching whales from the expansive wrap around deck, and the pools were wonderful after hours of beach time. The bus stop to take you toward Cabo San Lucas was super convenient, right across the street from the El Zalate entrance. We ventured that way once, and it was enough for us. We found better restaurants, shops, and friendlier people in downtown San Jose Del Cabo. Thursday night was the absolute best! And the beach in front of the condo buildings was fantastic! We could walk for miles, and we all swam when it wasn't too choppy. Our only complaint was constantly finding dirty appliances and utensils from prior renters. We ended up washing all the silverware, the blender, and the pans before use. Everything was slightly sticky or had food remnants, but it wasn't a huge deal. We would ABSOLUTELY stay here again.

This is a great property. It’s an older property developed by a Canadian. It is impeccably maintained. The unit itself is on the 4th floor and the view is incredible. Right on the sand! Great beds and furnished nicely. Highly recommend this property.

Our family of 7 spent Christmas week in this beautiful property and found it to be perfect for us. Being right on the beach was great - but we also enjoyed the convenience of the expansive pool area. We cooked most of our meals and loved the fact that the kitchen was well stocked with both pans/utensils/plates and even nice wine glasses. And since the property is managed by the owners - the pantry was well stocked with spices, coffee/coffee filters and even a few beverages from the previous guests. El Zalate's proximity to San Jose del Cabo and its restaurants, grocery stores and shopping was ideal - although I recommend having at rental car which makes those trips to the grocery store and dinner easier. Overall we thought the condo was great and are already planning to rent it again next year.

I can't say enough good things about the condo at El Zalate. From the friendly and helpful security staff at check-in, the responsiveness of the Property Manager, to the fact that every expectation we had of the condo was met or exceeded. The location in the complex is perfect for the best ocean views and the wrap around patio was superb. All of the furniture was clean and well maintained. We literally didn't have any issues with our stay and were very happy with the accommodations. The only problem I had was that I hated to have to leave at the end of our stay. We can't wait to return. The condo is very well stocked with cookware, utensils, flatware, and various helpful kitchen gadgets. We didn't find ourselves in need of anything that wasn't thought of in the kitchen. I do highly recommend having a vehicle as not much is walkable, but getting around SJDC is not to challenging. Spend some time in the town center if you get the chance. we regretted waiting until the last day to explore the quaint little town center. Reserve with confidence.

Our family of four stayed here for four nights over the Thanksgiving Break. We were blown away when we walked in by how spacious the place was! And then there's the view. We didn't want to leave just so we could sit on the balcony and look out at the ocean. The kitchen was well-equipped, the bathrooms had plenty of shampoo and conditioner and towels, and like I said, there was tons of space for everyone to spread out and relax. Going to sleep to the sound of the ocean was so nice. We will definitely stay here next time we visit Cabo.

3 couples stayed here and it was perfect! Everyone had their own space and we enjoyed so much the amazing balcony! The view does not get any better! We had 2 lovely chefs come in a cook a a meal and it was wonderful! Jane is great to work with and we would definitely stay again! Highly recommend!

Communication with the owner and the property manager was exceptional. They immediately answered all our questions. The ocean views were spectacular. We ubered into town and to restaurants along the corridor with no problems. I highly recommend this luxury condo

Furnishings were tasteful and well maintained. Kitchen was well equippedexcept that there was a dirth of good glasses for wine or martinis. We brought our own, and left them, so future renters shoul have fine glasses! The patio was wonderful - except for noise from the resort next door. Overall, a wonderful stay.

The Villa was great and had incredible views. We really enjoyed staying there, But the downside was the constant jack hammering from 9am till 5pm in two of the condos facing the pool.. It made sitting by the pool very difficult. The water was turn off in the building for 3/4 of the day without any warning and the elevator quit working . We had a woman 6 months pregnant and a 1 1/2 year old so walking up the stairs was difficult. It is and older building and i would probably pick somewhere else.
