Luxurious condo w/ private balcony & shared pool, hot tubs, game room & fitness

This was our 5th stay at this resort with several times in this unit. We love the location, the amenities, and Steamboat! This condo works well for our family and appreciate the study with pullout couch for our child. The unit is well maintained but had a few bumps this year - some repeat. We didn't have any kitchen cleaning products provided and had to ask a couple times to receive this (should be standard). And this is the 3rd or 4th stay where the A/C is broken and it is HOT for a couple days awaiting repair. They now have box fans standard in the unit after the first year when it broke but for this price point, I would expect them to make the investment to fix once and for all. So, if you are staying in the summer, don't be surprised if the A/C goes out. We just roll with the flow. Otherwise, we love this place and will be back.

We have stayed at Trailhead numerous times, it is a great location for the winter, nice size condos, private gondola to the base. Unfortunately the past two times we have stayed at Trailhead (March 2024 and December 2024) we were disappointed. This is by no means a reflection of the unit itself but rather the property and the continued Hot Water issue the building experiences. March 2024 there was no hot water in the entire building and we were forced to shower in the gym showers. Imagine spending 1000’s of dollars. Due to this inconvenience, over the summer we opted to stay elsewhere in Steamboat. Now we return to only have a similar problem. At check in I was reassured they fixed the hot water issue to only discover it has not been resolved. We had to turn the water on for 10 minutes to let the water heat up to only get “cool” water. It got so frustrating my kids showered in the gym again. Imagine spending 1000’s of dollars on a vacation to have to deal with this. We sent numerous messages with vague responses. We asked the maintenance person and apparently it is an ongoing problem. Due to this we will not be staying at Trailhead when we return in March. The condo owners really should demand this get resolved, I cannot imagine owning a unit there and have to deal with little to no hot water.

Unit and property were great, but there was no hot water for the entire time we stayed here. Cold showers after sking are no fun. We emailed Vacasa and talked to front desk, but never got a response from management.

This condo has a great view of the mountains and comes with access to the heated outdoor pool and three hot tubs to enjoy! The gondola is right outside the complex. If you are going to Steamboat this is a great place to stay. I will be coming back soon!

We absolutely loved this condo. It was perfect for us as a couple. Great bedroom, tv room, and living space. The views are amazing. We just loved this condo and would stay again in a heart beat!

modern, bright, great location and amenities. and it is rare to stay anywhere that was so spotlessly clean.

This is our second year in this unit and third in this complex. Great location, nicely appointed unit. Appreciate that everything you need is provided (paper towel, TP, dish/laundry soap, etc). The only con this year was that the AC was out throughout the complex and it was hot (temps in the mid-high 80s outside). Our unit was 80 degrees inside most days. They did their best and provided fans. We also left windows open at night when temps dropped to help. Overall, they tried to make it comfortable and we made the best of it. We'll be back!

My family had a great 6 night stay. Very easy to book, checkin and navigate to the mountain. We will be back!

This place was amazing! The unit that we stayed in had an awesome view of the mountains. The unit was extremely clean. The staff at the front desk couldn’t have been nicer. The pool was warm and the hot tubs (3) hot tubs were hot. We can’t wait to return!

This condo was perfect for our family of 3. Our kiddo loved the den as his sleeping nook. We appreciated the spaciousness of the condo & having a dining table on the deck. The complex is great with a large pool, game room, etc. This was our second year at this complex and highly recommend it.
