Luxurios 6th Floor Oceanfront Penthouse Paradise

Beautiful property.

Beautiful, well-kept condo, fully equipped. The grounds are well maintained on daily basis. Security does a great job. The location is great, and close by to shopping and dining. The managers and owner were very attentive and pleasant to work with. I feel certain I'll be back again.

Nothing else matters here when you step in the door and see the view!!! Although this unit also boasts a fantastic living space, completely modernized with high ceilings and absolutely beautiful decor. We had the pleasure of meeting the owners who are super friendly and easy to communicate with. Would definitely stay here again and again!

On arrival the Wi-Fi did not work, kitchen sink would not drain and no hot water. Contacted owner and went to gate attendant next morning. Maintenance came and installed new garbage disposal and lit the pilot light in the water heater. Master bathroom sink needed a good scrubbing and living room dusty. Seemed like no one had been there for a time. Closets were full of odds and ends with no room for suit cases. Second bedroom guests had to put suitcases on the floor. Unit is small for price. View from terrace is lovely. It overlooks the 3 pools then ocean. Very friendly staff.

View was great but there was so much clutter (owners belongings) and no place to hang things but one small closet. Basically lived out of our suitcases on the floor. Didn't do any cooking because there was no grill and the stove wasn't clean. The elevator broke in the beginning of our stay and again the morning we had to get to the airport; lugging our bags down six flights of stairs! EXPENSIVE for the size of unit and for the amenities you don't receive. The grounds and pool were well maintained and the security guards were super friendly.

Another great stay at Susanne’s condo! This is our second time at her condo and our fourth stay at El Zalate. The location is perfect. The condo was clean and had everything we needed. Susanne was very responsive with any questions we had. We look forward to coming back!

My husband and I enjoyed our stay here very much. It's like having your own private paradise with amazing views and spectacular quiet beach. The pool area and grounds are immaculate and the whole complex is very quiet. The location is great, close to lots of amenities. Last but not least, is the huge balcony that we enjoyed having our drinks at the end of the day.

This review is for my intended stay 06/05/2015 for a wedding. The Date of Arrival field only goes back to 11/03/2015, which is why I couldn't use the correct date. I'm writing this review over a year later because I happened to see this listing in my past travels list, and I was reminded of the kindness that the management had shown me. That summer, Hurricane Blanca was expected to hit Cabo hard on the day of my arrival. My wife was pregnant (gave birth two weeks later), and I could not risk being stranded, especially after what happened the last time Cabo was hit by a major hurricane. EVEN BEFORE canceling the trip crossed my mind, David and his team reached out to me and warned that I probably should cancel, though they were still willing to let me rent the place. I erred on the safe side and was given a full refund. Management was genuinely concerned for my safety, and for that I am very grateful. I always prefer to do business with those who put their customers first. The next time I am in town, I will definitely start here. Thank you again!

The condo is as beautiful as it looks in the pictures. Being on the sixth floor, the view of the beach and the Sea of Cortez was absolutely gorgeous. We spent many hours on the balcony - just relaxing and watching the crashing waves. The complex is very quiet, private and secure and the grounds and pools were both extremely well maintained. The property manager and the security guard were pleasant and helpful with any questions we had. We found the location to be ideal and had no problem catching the public buses to San Jose del Cabo and Cabo San Lucas. The Mega grocery store is about a 10-minute walk and one of our favorite restaurants was Sardina Cantina located beside the entrance to the complex. Although we booked last minute, the owners were very accommodating and ensured everything was ready on our arrival. It was hard to leave when our week was up and even our two teenagers said they would love to return!

This condo was a great destination for our 5 day trip to San Jose del Cabo. David was excellent to work with, and his condo was excellently maintained. The location on the 6th floor of the 4th villa was extremely private, and provided panoramic views of the ocean (!!) and the city. The El Zalate complex is expertly maintained by friendly staff, and the location is perfect. We didn't rent a car, but rather walked and took a taxi to all of our destinations. Within walking distance are great Mexican eats, as well as American chain restaurants (Applebee's, Dominos, Subway). The stay wass amazing, and we can't wait to return!
