Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Stayed here many times and had a relaxing time. Vincent helped with a minor problem which we greatly appreciated. Condo has everything we needed. Sadly our last visit to Hawaii as we found it quite expensive.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our yearly stay at Canal House was very relaxing. We love the views and dare I say it, the sound of the sirens much different to the ones at home. The only downside was the pipe remediation work for the washer/dryer which resulted in our last week where it was unavailable to use. There was a notice posted at the building but didn’t explain the extent of what was going to be done. If we had known about the timing of the work we would have adjusted the dates of our stay. Apart from that, we will be back but would like to be informed of any further work that might be done in the future in advance, if possible.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed 45 nights in August and September 2023 and had a lovely relaxing time. The condo was well stocked with everything we needed and having the washer/dryer was very welcome. We didn’t need to use the aircon as the fans were better suited to our needs. The views are spectacular of Ala Wai Canal and the Ko’olau Mountain Range. Having Safeway Supermarket a short walk away was great, especially with the shopping trolley provided. The Bus was not far away when you wanted to explore outside of Waikiki. We think of it as our home away from home.

As for the location, it's not right on Kalakua Street with tourists hustle and bustle but within walking distance. As for the condo's condition, the place is quiet and clean. The Kitchen had a nice stove and a full-size refrigerator. All were in perfect working condition. The owners provided many sizes of pots and pans and gadgets. The condo also had a washer and dryer and cleaning supplies. The only two problems we had was the main locks and assigned parking space. Once time we got locked out of the condo and another time we got locked inside the condo. The original locks were very old and not working properly. The locksmith came on a Saturday to resolve the lock. The assigned parking space was located on the 5th floor of the parking lot. The turns in the parking lot was extremely tight going up and down the floors. Overall, very happy with the stay.

Reviewer Comments: The stay was fine, but I find it a bit offensive to be charged a large cleaning fee for a unit that was dusty, windows not cleaned, and peanuts etc under the sofa, your cleaners aren’t doing a decent job and not having a follow up inspection.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Rejuvenating staying in a mostly pleasant environment in a comfortable unit engaging in a plethora of activities, cultural and active. The unit provided all the amenities of home ant then some. Somewhat dismayed at the gentrification in Waikiki, eliminating some of its local charm as in the International Market Place, but the climate is always delightful, which makes Hawaii worth visiting again and again.
