Our family enjoyed our stay at Old Lucky Sun in Prominence. The house was very clean upon arrival and had all the things we needed. We definitely recommend 91A!
The house was very clean. Golf cart worked great! Easy access to everything and the Hub is very convenient. The garage had 2 boogie boards, 6 beach chairs and an umbrella. Super helpful!
Great location(we have stayed in Prominence before). Right on 30A, but no noise and we enjoyed the 1st floor balcony facing 30A. SUPER Clean! Doesn't have snacks, extras like some of the other units, but had just what we needed. We bought an extra roll of paper towels and a couple of trash bags, besides that, we were good. Love the unit, it was well decorated, super clean and beds were CRAZY comfortable. Furniture was great and we enjoyed lounging in the living room watching late night TV. I miss the beds! ;) Had a decent beach umbrella, chairs, wagon, a few small toys. The only real criticism was the golf cart. It worked as it should except it was really slow, like other carts passed us with the pedal to the floor :/ Maybe it's safer, but not sure since we typically had a line of carts/cars behind us if we went down the street to the beach access or anywhere else. Last year the unit where we stayed had a cart that was considerably faster(It topped out around 32 mph). Might be fine if you have younger kids and don't want anything faster, but worth the mention.
Great well kept home. Only issue we ran into was the HOA had painters there our whole stay but Coastal Dreamin handled everything for us in a timely manner. The amenities provided with the home and community were unmatched and great for the family including kids as well. I defiantly would stay here again.
We vacation yearly at Prominence 30-A! We have also rented with Coastal dreamin just about every year. This year was a very bad experience. The GPS address listed with our house by coastal dreamin was incorrect! We were at the wrong house. We made it to the correct property and proceeded to check in. I put in the code provide the door would not unlock. I then proceeded to contact Costal dreamin. We were locked outside for about an hour. We made contact with someone and a code was provided. We went inside to notice the house wasn't clean. I sent a message to the person whom provided the code. No reply! The next day I sent an email . We went to the beach and returned to do our laundry and the washer wasn't working properly! The thing was leaking water and making a horrible noise. The close were still soaked. When I contacted Costal dreamin they wanted to know specifically what was wrong with it! I had no clue! It was leaking water and making loud noises. They never sent anyone out for the cleaning issue because they told me it wasn't received at first check in! Which I messaged them! They never sent out a repairman for the washer! We live in Texas 11 hours away . We had soaking wet clothes with sand particles to take back home because of this issue. Our clothes were ruined! They only informed me they would contact the owners!!! Very poor services!
This property was beautiful, however, it wasn't the cleanest. After walking around the home in our socks we realized they were black. The floors need to be mopped and/or rugs cleaned. The carbon monoxide detector was unplugged with a dead battery sitting under the sink. Concerning since the property has a gas stove. The primary suite comforter had stains all over it. The dryer wasn't functioning properly. It took 3-4 cycles to fully dry our clothes. We contacted Coastal Dreamin Management with our issues and they indicated someone would be out to fix the monoxide detector and provide us with new linens. They came out once while we were showering and didn't come in because the doors were locked. They just left without a phone call. I then received a text that stated We just wanted to let you know that we had someone come by but the doors were dead bolted so they were unable to get in. He is very busy so had to leave for his next issue. There was no further follow up or attempts to remedy the detector, linen, or dryer issues. The property itself is in a great location with close access to many restaurants. We loved the golf cart. The porch was great for our little one (2) to hang out on and not be able to escape! The property was spacious. We enjoyed our stay but likely won't stay at another property managed by Coastal Dreamin.
Fabulous home so great with beach toys and chairs in garage. Please get a new keurig
the only problem was no one at coastal dreaming called me back after I had left several messages and no one answered the phone when I called before our trip.
We loved this property. The house is much bigger than the pictures show! Beautifully decorated, well-equipped kitchen and very clean! The location is convenient to the front of the neighborhood for easy access to the pool and exiting to 30a. You are backed up to 30a so you will hear some traffic but nothing too bad. The golf cart was fantastic to have and made getting to the beach a breeze. I highly recommend Deer Park lake. Its a 2-3 minute ride on the golf cart and its very quiet and almost private feeling. Long walk down the boardwalk but its gorgeous! As much as we loved the house and have nothing bad to say about that we were not so keen on Coastal Dreaming management. We could not access our house when we first arrived, which was solved quickly. However, we were locked out again that evening and it took me calling three times and 45 minutes of waiting for them to finally respond back. The carbon monoxide alarm battery died and chirped in the middle of the night. They tempted to fix it once but then never came back to properly reinstall it after asking about it again. They are a fee based company and it seems like there is never a warm welcome-just constant reminders of their fees! We were never apologized for our troubles, instead we received short and brash responses. Ive stayed in Prominence several times and have always had the kindest property managers. Loved this property but disappointed in the care and concern of this particular property management team.
What we liked: beautifully decorated, well-equipped, impeccably clean and not as crowded as some developments on 30a. The Hub was fun for the littles but is limited in food offerings. The management was really good at communication prior to the trip. What we didn't like: very difficult to get to the beach. VBRO listed there property as “beachfront”. The map clearly indicated we would be across the street from the beach, we were under the impression the development was actually beachfront, offering direct access. This was not the case. The closest beach access was over a mile away. Many of these only have limited bike parking. As a family with a toddler and all of their things, We had to drive The neighborhood HOA also decided to close the pool, a major draw to this location, without warning our first full day there. This was very disappointing. When I reached out to the management team, I was grateful for a response but they clearly didn't have all the information. I got many different answers about the pool being closed, including an insistence that the pool was open, while I was standing outside the gate with other pool goers unable to gain entry. One person actually belittled my concern over the pool closure. As a mom of a toddler, who is having trouble getting to the beach, this was a HUGE deal. The last person I spoke to actually investigated and could out that HOA has closed it. I appreciated the effort and honesty. Overall, it wasn't the place for us but I'm sure it would be very nice for someone with different expectations.
