Great place to stay in destin

Great stay! Nice rooms, clean, friendly staff. Easy check in process! Great view of the pool! Would recommend!

We stayed here in July 2018. The view of the pool, golf course and beach made it feel as you were always on vacation. This condo had everything we needed. It also included covered parking, ice machine on parking level and a short walk to the beach. We will look to stay here again in the future.

I loved the view and the balcony.The Balcony needed more updated furniture. The small table was warped. The screen was torn and was not in the patio door and needed to be lifted in place in order to use it and it was quite heavy. There was no working light in the living room and there was no bulb in the lamp. The spread in the master bedroom was worn and wrinkled. There was no full length mirror.The armoire in the master bedroom was severely damaged. There was no lighting in the master bedroom. The 2nd drawer in the other bedroom wouldn't stay closed despite numerous attempts.The carpet was buckling and the sofa bed was worn The condo was clean and stacked with cookware which was appreciated. It would be wonderful to have adequate parking as well. We would love to come back in the future when some of the concerns are addressed. A free 2 nights stay or reduced rate would be greatly appreciated.

Stayed at the Luau previously on three other occasions, but never this property. Location and views are nice, and the property management did allow us to gain access two hours early. We had taken a shuttle from the airport and had picked up groceries along the way. Unit did not have wifi as listed, and the internet provider indicated the owner recently let it run out. Typical wear and tear for a unit, but the couch needed replaced and the screen had fallen off the slider. We didn't mind the screen off since we had no intention of leaving the slider open. Pool and exterior grounds well maintained, and we love Sandestin resort and the overall amenities it offers. You really never need to leave.

We have stayed many times in various units at the Luau. Although the view and terrace were great in these two sixth floor units, they were not up to the usual standards we have seen in the other units where we have rented. They were well-used and needed to have the furnishings refreshed and replaced. It is obvious they have been heavily rented and need some TLC. The cushions on the well-worn sofa were so shot that sitting on them was like sitting in a hole, the wood on all the furniture was scratched and somewhat battered, the outside chairs had sunken seats from many uses, and the bathroom grout was very dirty. The rental on these units was quite a bit less than some of the other available units and we now realize why. You get what you pay for. Also, one of the units had not been cleaned when we arrived - cans overflowing with trash, old food in the refrigerator, dirty towels on the floor, and nasty bathroom. We were very surprised because this was the off season - not a peak rental time. After several calls to the management company - leaving messages and talking to one unhelpful person who passed us off to housekeeping's answering machine - we finally reached a real person that could take care of the situation and within 90 minutes the unit was cleaned.

Great place for the family! Quick walk from the beach, and lots of amenities. Would highly recommend and will be back next year!

Two families went for fall break. I was apprehensive that the space was too small but with the lockout 2nd bedroom it gave us all some privacy and we still saved money by having our own kitchen! I love the beach, am scared of what is swimming in the ocean, so the large saltwater pool fit me to a T. The resort is beautiful in everyway! Don't forget to go to the roof top deck to catch the sunsets! We used Panhandlegetaways and heard they have a 3 bedroom condo at LUAU as well. Hopefully we will return next year - this is a winner!
