Lovely mountain view condo with pool, hot tub, sauna, & balcony

Our stay at Chamonix 20 was outstanding. We really enjoyed our stay here. The property was clean, peaceful and at a nice location. Highly recommended.

Cozy, quiet place to stay close to mountain and easy to get to middle of town. Plenty of an accessible parking. Pool and hot tub were within walking distance. Internet was reliable. furniture and beds could use a refresh

The pictures look great but the beds and couches were old ,worn out and uncomfortable. Kitchen only had 5 forks and spoons and we were provided only 1 towel per guest “per policy” but we were “welcome” to wash them during our stay in the common area …. Not exactly how I prefer to spend vacation . Was going to leave a review stating this condo is best for minimalists . But after waking up to mice droppings and all of our food on the counters (due to limited storage space) being opened and nibbled on by mice , this place is a hard pass! Due to known hantavirus in the area it’s not worth the risk- not to mention the money lost on groceries that had to be thrown away. When we reached out to the property manager all we received was a “sorry for the inconvenience “ reply. Mice are not an inconvenience but a health risk in this area -

I stayed in this particular condo last year, and we liked being able to see our car parked as we had a dirt bike and fishing gear in the bed of our truck. The place itself was very clean, and is in a great location by Canyon Lodge and not too far from Mammoth Moto. I would say maybe an updated couch would be nice, and the dishwasher door could use some tightening up. Plenty of room in the condo, firm mattresses, which I preferred. The TV was fun to figure out, but the size is perfect to watch sports! Plenty of towels were provided for our stay, and we had no issues with parking close to the entrance.

Best part of this condo is its location in proximity to the lifts. It is a few minute walk to the parking lot near chair 7 at Canyon Lodge. The beds were comfortable. This home was advertised as not pet friendly and that was not true. There was dog hair on the floors and in the carpets. When we responded to a text from VACASA about the cleanliness and complained about the dog hair all we received was an auto reply saying they would get back to us within 24 hours. We never did hear from VACASA. In addition there are more remote controls then devices (TV's Roku). Once we figured them out we were able to operate TV in the living area and the loft, but the bedroom remotes did not work and we were unable to utilize that TV. The home could use some updating specifically in the bathrooms and with Kitchen basic utensils.

Easy booking Clean rooms

This was my first trip to Mammoth. And I gotta tell you, I loved that condo. I looked at hotels in the area and for the price, it offered WAAY more than any of the hotels did, plus i didn't have to deal with any parking problems like at the hotels. It almost felt like I was at home away from home with all the amenities. The stone work on the fire place really tied the whole living room together. Plus the full kitchen filled with a full array of plates, bowls, cups and silverware. Anda dishwasher incase you need it! The upstairs loft gave the feeling that there were two separate master bedrooms. And big TVs in every room for when I was there relaxing. The location was perfect for me. Not too close to the center of town, but not too far away either. I was far enough away from all the events by the village shops that i didn't hear all the commotion. But close enough that I was only a few minutes away from anywhere I needed to go. All in all, it was a great place. And i would definitely rent that place out again if it's available next time I go up. For what I got and the experience I had, I couldn't have asked for more. Especially at that price!

Nice location, nice layout, full amenities. There is a smell that hits you every time you open the door. Can be reduced by opening balcony door and front door for a few minutes: the condo needs a deep clean.

Great place for out family. Nicely updated. Not a huge place but fit 2 adults and 4 teens in the large upstairs loft.
