First and foremost, I had great expectations staying at this property, since I saw the pics and was a good deal for the price. We planned ahead pour trip with almost 11 months in advance and we were surprised of how different this looked in the reality vs the internet pictures. By that, we don't mean the pictures don't correspond to the place they were offering, it's just that from the pictures, we couldn't notice how old the whole set-up was. Traveling down to the snow and cold weathers, you always expect old cozy furniture, but this way beyond that, at the point that some couches stink. Walls were cracked, not well painted; bedrooms were under avg and beds way below expected. Kitchen was well-equiped with every single utensil to make your stay easy. Showers, although old, were working perfectly. For our taste, all the lighting can be improved, there's hard light everywhere; this property can get the best of indirect light to make all stand out and also to hide some of the imperfections the whole apartment has. Location was superb and arrival instructions worked perfectly fine. I really think this property can be restored to make it exciting again.
Great place and location. Wish we could stay next year too. Management company was excellent l
Had a good experience. Would recommend
The condo is in a great location for skiing the various resorts. Everything you would need, is provided. Being on the first floor was perfect, after a hard day of skiing.; and we could park right next to our condo. (we are all in our mid 60's) There is a good restaurant across the street, grocery nearby and a short walk to the lake. The condo is clean, but could use some updating to keep up with the times. But, the beds were comfortable, and our friend who had to sleep on the sofa bed, said it was one of the more comfortable sofa beds he has slept in. The management responds very quickly and does try to accommodate. It was warm in the condo and the temperature couldn't be adjusted; but, two people responded immediately. They explained the boiler system in the building (which we do understand how boilers work), so it was really no big deal. All-in-all, it was a good experience.
Very nice stay in Dillon. Condo unit is great location to the local restaurants (less than a 5 minute walk away). The living areas were larger than expected. Everything was clean and working. No complaints; we felt very much 'at home' in the condo for our two week rental. Would stay at same property again.
An excellent place to call home for a break between resorts. 15 minutes to A-Basin and 15 Minutes to Copper. Great food across the street. The decor takes me back to the 80's - Early 90's and is exactly what we needed. For the age of the condo, it is in excellent condition. We will be back next year for sure.
Great condo. Best location possible. Next to everything you want like a Brewery, great restaurants, Amphitheater and Dillon Lake. Beautiful living room Skyrun makes everything work out smoothly.
This is an excellent opportunity to stay close to the lake if you are into water sports. Property is old and may need some sprucing up and minor fixes, but managed and stocked well. Very comfortable and homey, spacious and inviting. Would definitely stay again.
First, the location is super...close to restaurants and across the street from the playground, Lake, and Farmer's Market. Proximity to key events/locations allowed us to walk to many places. The patio/deck is lovely and we enjoyed quiet times sitting there in the evenings. Great TV in living room and one bedroom -- both worked just fine. However, there is work that needs to be done on the unit. The wall paper had cut out areas that had not been replaced and there were some cracks/gaps in the wall in the living room, there was a sheet tacked up next to the washer/dryer to cover unsightly vents, the upper lock to the unit did not work, the toaster burned the bread (you have to stand by it and hand pop the bread up to avoid black smoke pouring out), the top of the coffee pot was broken, the bath tub was not usable (no stopper and when we turned on the water to give our 5 y/o a bath, black-rust water poured out - doubt the tub had been used for a very long time), the shower doors on the other bathroom required super human strength to open/close and there was poor water pressure in that shower, the folding door that goes into the bath/laundry room/bedroom does not close well, the door to the deck/patio was very difficult to open (my husband got some WD40 and then it worked better), and the shag carpet in the hall/living room was worn and dirty. In short, it would be nice to see repairs and updating. Given the terrific location, investment in fixing up the unit would seem to be well worthwhile -- IMHO. All this being said -- we had a nice stay and with modest attention to problems in the unit, we would love to rent again. Thanks for sharing your home with us.
Really enjoyed almost everything about this condo. However, one shower could not be adjusted for temp, and one bed very uncomfortable for 2 people.
