Stayed Dec 27, 2025The balcony did not offer a nice view which was important when I booked it and paid foras it was draped in plastic for construction, which was very disappointing and especially since there were no workers doing any work for the week we were there. Also, the unit had been painted and everything was covered in paint dust. The floors had paint chips on the carpet and on the counters etc.

Stayed Jul 7, 2025This was my first time staying at North Beach Resort, and it’s definitely my favorite of all the places I’ve ever stayed in NMB! The room was beautiful and comfortable, and looked every bit as great IRL as it did in the photos! The view is great from the balcony in this unit, and I love that the balcony spans the master bedroom and living room. It’s very spacious! The beds are really comfy also, and they provide a lot of extra pillows. There is lots of closet space, plenty of seating in the dining room, and the kitchen is fully furnished. We had a family of 8, and it didn’t feel cluttered or cramped at all. Kids’ favorite part was definitely all the pool access; I don’t think we even were able to check them all out, but they particularly loved the lazy river and the infinity pool. Husband and I loved the swim-up bar, and my in-laws loved the hot tubs. The beach access is great too. The ramp was really convenient for dragging all our beach stuff back and forth. I also love that the resort doesn’t have rigid rules about having your own beach set-up (even though they do offer chair and umbrella rentals), beyond the NMB city ordinances. We were able to set up very close to the water with our own chairs and umbrella. The only thing that I’d maybe give a 9.5/10 (at the worst) is getting in and out of there. The parking garage is TIGHT, and it can take quite a while to get up and down the elevators. Otherwise, everything was amazing! I will definitely rebook when we come again!

Stayed Jul 18, 2024Great location and great facility. The complex is large and it takes a day to figure out where to park and what building to go in to. The closest gate closes at 7 pm and you will need to enter the complex though a different gate. No big deal it just takes a little getting used to. Beach and complex is gorgeous and well maintained. Staff is friendly, they had a DJ at the pool every day from about noon to 6 pm. My kids and family loved it. Location is near lots of shopping and dining

Stayed Jun 1, 2024We LOVED it, especially the view. The condo was clean, spacious, and beautiful. Lots of pools to pick from, and easy access to the beach. The elevators are fast and lots of parking spots, easy access to the condo. We enjoys fishing in Murrells Inlet, shopping at barefoot landing (behind condo) and the outlet mall. We enjoyed eating at Blueberry Grill, Joe’s Bar and Grill, and the 3rd floor restaurant (wings are the best). The marsh at Barefoot Landing had lots of turtles, fish, wildlife, and an alligator named Fred. We enjoyed the Duplin Winery (behind condo). But the best part was the ocean/view from condo, and the “river” next to the condo, it changed everyday with the tides. You can walk through it most of the time, play in it, or just enjoy it!! And the walks down past the “river”, preserved ocean front. So Relaxing!! We will be back one day.
