All cleaning policies meet or exceed CDC standards and recommendations. Our team wears new masks, gloves and shoes covers each time they enter home to prepare it for a new stay. We clean and disinfect all hard surfaces and high-touch items such as appliance handles, light switches, door knobs, remote controls, etc. We also clean and disinfect all dishes/glassware, silverware, bedding, towels and other linens as well as tubs and toilets. Meredith Lodging has added the extra measure of a pre-check-in inspection to make sure all of our cleaning and disinfecting procedures are complete and to our standard before you arrive.
Once it passes inspection, your home sits empty until you arrive for your contact-free check-in. Additionally, if your home features a private hot tub, rest assured it is disinfected, treated and cleaned thoroughly after each departure so that you and your guests can enjoy it with peace of mind during your stay.
I am typically never one to complain about a property we stay in but the condition of this property was a huge disappointment. We work extremely hard to make ends meet and when we spend significant amounts of money to stay somewhere, we would at least expect it to be clean and functioning. Upon arrival, the first thing I was greeted with was dirty women's underwear on the bedroom floor. The couch had dirt and crumbs in it, the upstairs beds were not made with proper sheets and all sheets looked like they were 30 years old, roughed up and stained. I personally felt disgusting just being in the unit. The walls and cabinets were dirty, the vent in the bathroom didn't work and looked like it hadn't been cleaned in just as many years as the bedsheets, and the jerry rigged air conditioning unit didn't even allow one to close the sliding glass door. The second day, the main lights in the living area stopped working and we checked the breaker and light switches to never find a way for any of those to turn on again for the remainder of our stay. The Exterior of the building was in much need of maintenance, sanding, and repainting. The only good thing I can say about the property was the grounds OUTSIDE OF THE UNIT. Definitely not the best experience coming to Bend for the first time.
We really enjoyed our stay. We'll be back. This unit was clean, modern, and had everything you need to enjoy a great stay in Bend.
It was nice and clean. Great amenities.
Upon check in we vacuumed and swept the floors as they were very dirty. Something was rotting in the garbage disposal so it made the unit smell all weekend - we reached out on Saturday evening asking for maintenance to come take a look, but all had gone home for the evening. There was no AC upstairs so it was very hot. The shower handle was broken so was hard to get the temperature where it needed to be. Some of the beds didn't have fitted sheets so most of us ending up sleeping on bare mattresses as the bottom sheet would not stay in place. Overall none of us 6 that stayed in the house would recommend this place to others. The listing did not match the product we were given.
We really enjoyed our stay for one night. We brought our daughter over to school at COCC and I found this little cute place. We will definitely stay again when we come over.
We enjoyed our stay, the location at Mt. Bachelor Village can't be beat. With that said, this condo could do with some attention, i.e. the bed side tables are dangerously sloped, the shower head has a loud siren-like squeak, and the fireplace doesn't seem to work. Families with little kids should also be aware that there's no washer and dryer so prepare accordingly. :) The is no hot tub in the unit and the hot tubs in the pool area are out of order for the foreseeable future (Summer, 2021).
We really enjoyed our stay here! It’s in a great location with easy access to all things Bend. Also, we very much appreciated the air conditioning unit as it was a very warm weekend :) Would definitely recommend for a small group or couple.
Mt. Bachelor Village is a great place to stay while visiting Bend. It’s a quick drive to downtown, the property is beautiful and peaceful, and you can walk to the pool. There are also wonderful trails nearby that take you down by the Deschutes or even all the way into town.
Cute little condo in a convenient location- short drive to Old Mill and downtown Bend. Great walking trails, too!
