Easy access to skiing and village. Loved the heated pool and hot tubs. Plenty of space for our family of 5.

The place was very comfortable for our group of 6. It had a good layout to accommodate everyone. Location in the village was perfect for the weekend. Didn't want to leave!

The condo was very comfortable and clean. Everything we needed in the kitchen to cook our meals. Great location. We will definitely stay here again!

Very convenient

Thank you for hosting my family Dale. The condo was clean, conveniently located and larger than expected. Only thing I would change about the entire weekend was the pushy doorman/bellhop at the entrance of the lobby.

We had a perfect Snowshoe trip in this condo. We loved the amenities and convenience of Alleghany Springs. The condo comfortably fit our family of five, was well stocked, and clean. The host was easy to reach and communicated instructions well before the stay. We would love to book this condo again.

Wonderful stay. Unit was exactly as described and very clean. Host was an excellent communicator. Easy to access ski lockers. We used the sleeper sofas in the bedroom and den areas. One was a full/double and had a new mattress. Den’s sleeper sofa was queen sized and had an older mattress which I thought was less supportive than the one in the bedroom, but our teen preferred because it was softer. Queen bed was comfortable enough and supportive. We slept well. One bathroom had a tub/shower combo and the other was shower only. Both were very clean. Would 100% stay here again.

My mother and I stayed at Dale's apartment while attending a memorial service and family reunion. It was our first time at Snowshoe and we wanted a central location where we could walk to restaurants and shops. Allegheny Springs did not disappoint, as it was situated directly above the town square. Dale's apartment was spacious for two people, with a bedroom, den with a pull-out sofa, two full bathrooms, kitchen, combined living and dining room, and a balcony overlooking the pool. The photos captured the apartment accurately. The unit was also well-insulated against both the neighbors and the all-weekend music festival on the town square.Check-in and check-out at the front desk went smoothly, and the parking lot was approximately a five-minute walk down the hill from the building. It is helpful to note that some of the information on the brochure that Snowshoe distributes out at check-in differs from the information listed on VRBO. For example, Snowshoe lists check-out at 10:00am and VRBO lists check-out at 11:00am. While the apartment has WIFI, it is an unsecured network for the buildings surrounding the town center. This differs from the secure WIFI username and password that Snowshoe lists on their materials. Dale was very communicative, so I recommend simply reaching out with any questions and following his guidance. His kind hospitality made our bittersweet and tiring visit both comfortable and relaxing.

This place was perfect for me and my husband. We were there during the 4848 festival. The music was just a few steps away which allowed us to duck in and out of the condo during the rain delays. Pool and hot tubs are great places to hang out. The place was clean and comfortable and well stocked.

We had a great time room was very clean and great communication with property owner easy check in and out process.

My family enjoyed staying in Allegheny Springs. Everyone was nice at the front desk. The condo had plenty of room for us. We cooked several meals and went out a few times too. We especially liked how quiet it was at night even though we were in the village. The kids enjoyed splashing in the pool after skiing.

Excellent communication

This was a great place to stay for our family. Location was perfect, and the condo was great for our family of five. Two bathrooms was great. We were very comfortable and able to enjoy our time with our teens.

We stayed here as a family of four and enjoyed the great access to skiing and the village. The unit has everything you need! Pool and hot tub were a big bit with the kids! We loved that you could access the pizza restaurant without walking outside! On a holiday weekend (MLK), Snowshoe was a zoo, but that's to be expected. Pillows were quite hard, so bring your own if you are picky. Pillows were definitely plentiful. Lots of room for sleeping with all of the sleeper couches!

The room had plenty of space for a family of 4, the ski lockers were extremely helpful. The front desk can print all your tickets and everything is in walking distance. This is a great place to stay at Snowshoe.

Condo was exactly what we needed for our ski getaway

The host is fantastic. Very welcoming and available to answer questions. The property worked great for our family and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay.

Dale's condo was fabulous! Perfect amount of space for 4 adults and 2 kids (10 yo and 6yo). Located right next to the Ballhooter lift which was extremely convenient and made it super easy to come and go as we pleased. Starbucks is within a stone's throw from the property and with mobile ordering, it made breakfast so easy especially for our younger ones. Our kids did ski school both days during our stay. Ski school was a short walk through the village, and I highly recommend the school if you have littles (totally worth the money)!! My husband and I were able to enjoy the slopes from 9am-3pm while the kids were in ski school. The heated pool & hot tub was a hit for our family after a long day on the slopes. We didn't make dinner reservations but in hindsight, probably something I'll consider doing next time unless you eat around 5pm before the dinner rush. Cheat Mountain Pizza was delicious, and the Junction was also a fave! Just a fyi for anyone interested in the tubing park - this was a bust imo and I don't recommend (we had a 20 yo, 10yo and 6yo) and none of them enjoyed it. The tubing park seemed very chaotic, not well organized and a huge disappointment. Don't waste your money. Next time we're in Snowshoe, we'll definitely want to stay at Dale's again!

The condo furnishings and cleanliness were amazing. I think the owner did not see my family as his profit center.We were his guests for three days. We will visit again soon.
