When you rent this condo at the Shadow Mountain Yacht Club, you'll be enjoying the best of what Grand Lake has to offer. Only a flat grassy lawn separates you from Shadow Mountain Lake for kayaking, paddle-boarding, or to test your angling skills. From the condo, you'll enjoy amazing panoramic views of Shadow Mountain Lake and the alpine peaks of Rocky Mountain National Park! From here you can take a leisurely stroll into downtown Grand Lake. Right outside the condo, you can toss the frisbee or enjoy other yard games on the massive lawn area. You can even roast some marshmallows over a lakefront fire - the list goes on and on!

The Shadow Mountain Yacht Club has a great location that is close to downtown as well as the entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park. You can be either place in just a few minutes. The condo itself has a large open concept layout which combines a nicely sized kitchen with the dining area and living room. Best of all, you'll have lake views from the entire space. The kitchen has loads of storage, upgraded tile, and stainless steel appliances. There's bar seating for 4 and a built in wine rack for your end of the day reward. The dining table is round to encourage family dining or board game fun. The living room has a large leather sectional sofa set up perfectly for you to enjoy the large HDTV, fireplace, and gorgeous views! You might find the living room's covered deck to be your favorite part of the property. It has sweeping views that you'll really appreciate as you start your day with a cup of tea or coffee.

The master bedroom is a pretty good size. It has enough space for a beautiful King size bed complete with 2 nightstands, a dresser with HDTV and mirror, and a reading chair. The room also has a double closet, an en suite private bathroom, and a private balcony with lake views. When you wake up in the morning or lay down for an afternoon break, you'll have a hard time not staring at the lake and mountains. The second bedroom has 3 Twin beds and a Double bed, which makes it ideal for a second couple, a group of kids or singles, or a mix of couples and singles or kids. This bedroom has an adjacent full bathroom that is also accessible from the main living space.

With all the fantastic outdoor activity options available for summer and winter guests alike, a Grand Lake property wouldn't be complete without access to a washer and dryer. This condo has a very large laundry room with newer high capacity front loading machines, so pack as light as you like. This is lakefront living at its best. ** Air Conditioning - Most mountain resort properties were not built with air conditioning. During most hours of the day and weeks of the year, AC is not needed. Summer nights are cool and fans are provided at most properties. Check the average high and low temperatures and weather forecast for your dates of travel, and look at the list of amenities to see if AC or fans are part of the rental property and look for ceiling fans in photos.
** Group Sizes, High Occupancy Fees, & Maximum Occupancy - Some properties use a “High Occupancy Fee” to “raise the rate” for larger groups, and are thus able to list a lower nightly rate for smaller groups. Each rental agreement and associated rates are for a specific group size. Guests must enter the correct and maximum group size at the time of booking. The agreement requires a guest to confirm the group size and subsequently, to disclose any changes to the planned group size, which may result in an increase, or decrease, to the total cost, and may result in a security deposit becoming required.
** Video & Noise Monitoring - Please note that noise monitoring devices, and security cameras, do exist on the exterior of the property. Cameras are positioned to cover all entrances and exits of the home. Cameras are present to ensure the property remains secure and safe, as well as to ensure that guests are honest and upfront about their planned use of the property. If you plan to bring more people than you've indicated, more dogs than indicated, to host a party or event, or do not intend to respect neighbors or the value and quality of the property, then this is not the place for you, and you should not book the property. For normal, respectful groups, we are sorry that these statements and measures are necessary. Security cameras and noise monitoring devices are an example and demonstration that the property's owners are taking steps to ensure the home remains available for rental, and in good condition, for your benefit. ** Cleaning Fees & Lengthy Rental Periods - The standard cleaning fee quoted as part of any booking is for the final cleaning, which is to be performed after the rental period has ended. For guests who are booking a lengthy stay of more than one week, a mid stay-cleaning fee equal to the final cleaning fee may apply for the second week, third week, and so on.     There was a bright light outside the children’s window so they could not sleep. The unit was dust ridden and my husband and I were sneezing the entire time. The view was beautiful only silver lining.

    Very nice but it was 82 degrees and we discovered we couldn’t use the pool. Owners only!That doesn’t make sense and very disappointing. Plus the BBQ grill was in the pool area.This needs to change.Great location.

    We had a nice stay at your condo. Great views and access to use our kayaks and paddle boards. One suggestion to replace the double bunk bed mattress. It was not comfortable, feels like an hard board. Otherwise, we had all the amenities we needed.

    We booked this property due to its walkability to our construction project. This is a summer vacation location and few properties with kitchens were open at the time of our reservation (still in winter conditions, snow on the ground and very cold temperatures). I had gained verbal clearance the day before for an early check-in. When we arrived at the approved time, we discovered that someone else was staying in the unit. He was as surprised as we were when he showed up not long after we entered. At this point we didn’t have time to wait for the unit to be cleaned for us (which would take hours) so we were forced to find another property that was open and had a kitchen. We had travelled with our food for a several-day stay. Not only did we lose valuable time having to run down another living situation, we were now forced to have to drive a distance to our project multiple times/day. We considered this a hardship, but were only reimbursed the original amount. We did everything right on our end, but were given no additional compensation for our inconvenience. We felt that this was unsatisfactory customer service.

    Great location! On the water..walked to shore to fish w kids & 2 min drive to town. Condo was plenty big for 5 of us. It was a little dated but overall a great stay!

    Inside of condo clean and neat, but the hinges on the cabinets creaked like fingernails on a blackboard. Also the stairs and walkway to the condo were very dirty and run down. The sheets on the bed in the master bedroom were clean but looked to be extremely old as they were thin and pilled in areas.

    We loved our stay here. The host was great at communicating and checked on us to make sure we had everything we needed. The place looks just as described. The lake is gorgeous and coffee on the deck with the view was amazing. The state park entrance is a couple miles from the condo and there is a gorgeous waterfall near the lake if you’re up for a short hike! We will definitely be back!

    This was our first time visiting Grand Lake and we couldn't be happier. The town was wonderful, the lakes were beautiful, and the condo was just what we needed. We had 7 in our group (Me, my wife, our 3 teenagers, and my wife's parents. My wife and 2 kids slept in the 2nd bedroom and we gave the master bedroom to my in-laws. My oldest boy slept on the couch and said it was comfortable for sleeping. We also brought an air mattress in case we needed it. The condo had everything we needed. I reached out to the owners on several occasions and they were always quick to respond and very helpful. This condo was in a great location for us and me and my boys love to fish. We walked out back everyday and fished right beside the marina, catching both rainbow and brown trout. The condo was close enough to the local market that on several occasions I rode my bike to pick up a few items. The separate balconies were great which allowed for my in-laws to sit outside if they wanted a little more quiet time to themselves. We took advantage of the fire pit and cooked Hobo dinners and smores one evening. The condo is equipped with a new high efficiency washer and dryer which made doing laundry a quick chore. I couldn't believe how fast the clothes were dried. Again, thank you to the owners for being so helpful and for providing such a great place to stay. It definitely made our trip even that much more enjoyable.

    The place was perfect for us. Perfect location and the view from the condo was wonderful. Caught 4 rainbows near the condo by the bridge. If we are able to get back to Grand Lake wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. Thanks
