Lahaina Resort Retreat w/ Pool & Ocean Views!

My family of 4 really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful condo at the Papakea resort. The property grounds are a little dated but the condo itself is newly renovated and clean. Located on the 2nd floor (out of 4), beautiful ocean views from the lanai, very spacious and has everything you need and more, including snorkel gear and binoculars to whale watch. There is no restaurant on site but there are several good places to eat within walking distance (Penny’s for breakfast & desserts, tons of food trucks, Fish Market, shave ice, Times Supermarket, etc.). There’s even a convenient back gate entrance to an ABC store. Parking was easy and the staff, friendly. Host was very responsive and flexible with our check in/out time. Highly recommend and would love to stay here again when we return to Maui.

This condo has everything you need, from snorkels, to beach bags. Nice little shops and places to eat around it with a nice beach in front. We were extremely pleased with it and would definitely book again. Awesome location

My family and I had a great time over spring break at the resort. It was a great location and we would definitely stay again. 10/10

We LOVED our stay at Papakea! The condo was a dream. Comfortable beds, good WiFi, and unexpected surprises like beach toys, beach chairs, and snorkeling gear (although we brought our own). The only issue we had was with the dryer. It works but takes hours to dry. This is a common theme with stackable washer/dryers so no fault of owner, just something to be mindful of. We were just grateful to have a washer/dryer. Also, the A/C was much appreciated, but the breeze with the door open worked just as well. We have stayed in a lot of rentals and this one was by far our favorite. We will definitely be back. Mahalo to Charles for responding to texts quickly and being such a gracious host.

Great location, gorgeous scenery everything we needed to feel like home. Owner Rob and resident Charles so easy to communicate with. Answered any questions and had some great recommendations for restaurants and excursions. Would stay again and again!! The resort concierge was extremely helpful with excursions as well including whale watching your which was amazing and kayak/snorkel tour with Gabriel's Ohana! Absolutely Loved them and would definitely recommend to anyone.

Condo was nice. We ended up buying a larger frying pan at Ross because there wasn’t a very good selection to cook with. Other than that we had a nice stay.

We really enjoyed our stay here! The condo is beautifully updated which is sometimes hard to find in Hawaii! The views are perfect and we spent a lot of time out on the patio. The condo was fully stocked and even had plenty of extra towels and pillows which was a plus! The property grounds are immaculate and we enjoyed taking walks daily!

The only reason I gave this location a 4 out of 5 stars is because there is not much of a swimming spot on the beach. While I thought the shallow and calm waters were great, the boys in our group wanted some waves! Everything else was fantastic (and clean!), I would stay again. Great resort amenities, full use kitchen, comfortable beds, awesome ocean view, several chairs for use to haul to the beach and even a boogie board.
